Ive had one in since the 22nd, when the server stopped spawning items, as I imagine a TON of other people do, and still haven't even heard a peep... Its pretty bad.

I think it's because it's so hard to find tangible evidence on reimbursement-petitions.
eg. if it's client-to-server lag (caused by the user having a crappy connection, or having connection problems that are related to the ISP).
The player with connection-problems is not likely to fault the ISP, but CCP.
And hard/software-issues in general.
I remember someone complaining on SOE because Planetside lagged so horribly, and then someone spotted that he had a defragment scheduled to be on basically 24/7.
Though -that- scenario is probably quite uncommon, user-errors are behind more issues than people will want to admit. It goes against our own nature to blame ourselves.

That is sheer stupidity. It is not the players fault that the server cannot create items anymore.

They did say that they would have less 'man'-power during the vacation due to staff on holiday... so it might take a while longer. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Xaroth Brook Brainiac of Doomcraft Member of R I S E

Edited by: Danton Marcellus on 04/08/2006 17:52:43 What they need to do is get better logs, simply having the 'our logs show nothing' fed to you all the time is downright insulting. That and get the bloody forums off of the same server!
Oh and I've gotten 1 Thorax back once whilst filing some 10 reimbursement petitions so I don't feel like I'll have to play nice to gain any favors, I'm beyond that.

what you need to realize is you're wasting a whole hell of a lot more time waiting for them to reimburse you. You could easily go ratting or mining and make what you lost back in half the time.

By that logic don't ever report a thief or someone overcharging you for a service you never asked for in the first place, just put in for more overtime and work work work and be happy that you may some day get to keep what you've earned. Victim.
