i've tried the EVE-Chaos thing but it just wouldnt let me register. so i'll just post here

How do you sign up? Well, this is the tricky bit. Rather than sort through thousands of applictions from the community, we want you to prove your value to us. We will be closely monitoring both the list of submitted bug reports, and the conversation in the #eve-chaos channel on the Coldfront IRC server. Those of you providing good bugreports, and being helpful and enthusiastic in IRC are likely to get invites to the BugHunters team.
is the easy way to report but that server is giving me issues atm so i cant do it...
*btw, its in the top sticky that says "want to make a difference" or some such thing

I tried that first but it gave me some error about me not using a registered nickname when trying to join that channel.

best thing you can do is simply file a petition and the involved parties will get what they deserve..
quite possibly they can even recover your skillpoint loss but not sure on that one.
let this be a reminder for all sisi players to still update there clones! just to be safe in situations like these.

type /msg nickserv help to find out how to register your nickname on the irc server.
It should be something like: /msg nickserv register email password
You'll get an email on the address you used with a comfirmation-reply to activate your nickname. after activation you can identify yourself to the server with: /msg nickserv identify password
now type /join #eve-chaos to enter the #eve-chaos channel
