Anyone have any setups they can vouge for? Looking for a pvp setup to support a fleet and to also be very effective at popping smaller ships (frigs, ceptors, destroyers, and interdictors)... while also having the tank of a rock.
Here's what I have....
3 heavy launchers (xr-3200)
75mm scout
med nos
drone link augmentor
shield harmonizing link
large shield boost II
shield amp
webber
large shield ext II
passive EM hardner II
2 ballistics control II
2 power diag II
emergency damage control
Any critiques? options? swaps?

On the off-chance that this is real, get yourself a nice caracal and learn to fly it. It will be much more rewarding than exploding a lot of nighthawks.

erm eh, dude, so you had time to train for command ship and skipped the heavy missile lvl 5 to get specialisation wish shouldnt take more than 2 hours to ge tto lvl 1 and use t2 launchers..

No i think what is being said is that if you're flying a T2 ship like a command which requires lots of training you should have the required support skills to fly it well. That includes the ability to use T2 modules as and when necesary.
Also command ships are actually front line combat ships (for the combat commands anyway)and you will need to be able to both dish out and recieve quite alot of pain.
That would imply atleast using all of your main damage potential (missile hardpoints).

I can use t2... never said I COULDNT... just the power and cpu are a bit more than what my setup allows... thus asking for advice and NOT jackhole responses from ego punks. so nevermind and f'off.

Well... I dont actually fly one but its quite easy to see where you are going wrong with that setup dude. if you want some constructive criticism here goes.
You want a full rack of heavys on i think... and yes T2, if you pay for a t2 ship like tht you put t2 on it, I dont have a clue why that 75mm is there bud. But you have ur gang mod.
If you look at the nighthawks bonus's it get 5% per lvl to precision and 10% per lvl to target prediction, so dont worry about the smaller stuff you will eat them if ur skill is high enough... or if your still worried, put some precision heavys in ur cargo.
Take off the damage control bud, its doing you no favors

this thread gives me the distinct feeling that you bought the account on Ebay. Though i'm not saying you definately did and can't prove it, there's no other explanation i can think of. but anyways they're right, buy and learn to fly/fit a caracal before you go around with a Nighthawk of doom "doom for the pilot aka you"

As for Rock Saw: I wasn't kidding in my earlier post, and I don't intend to be overly nice about it. Here goes:
You have no idea how to set up a nighthawk. If you can fly a nighthawk, you should know so much better than that. How you got an account which can fly a nighthawk, but still know ****all about fitting one, I don't know. Only two expanations present themselves: you trained the account for months, without once logging in to do anything but change skills, buying ISK with GTCs, or you acquired an account which didn't not belong to you (eBay anyone?). My advice earlier was wholly useful, and heartfelt. You have no right flying a nighthawk, if you think that is an appropriate setup. If you do fly one, you will just end up as 200mil worth of*****tail delicacies, and I don't think you want that. Seriously, buy a caracal or five. Learn to fly them. Learn what works, and what doesn't. Then move onto feroxes, learn all over again. Maybe after a month or two, you can come back with a new, improved setup, and you can have a constructive thread.
Also, attacking those who try and help (Montero), will never win you friends. I honestly think you should leave this thread alone for a bit, and take the advice I just posted. Come back and make a new thread when you feel ready again.

No, I think they will take away precion and explosion velocity bonuses without giving it something else cause missles are ubar liek that
to help turrent users, see?
