Good day,
I realize this is a long shot.
I'm looking for an uncollateralized loan to grow my character training business.
I have been training freighter alts for sale in the character bazaar for roughly 15 months. In this time I've trained and sold roughly 60 unique characters. I have spent many, many hours analyzing the character bazaar but I've never had the raw ISK to invest into higher SP, higher profit characters.
I'm looking for an injection of ISK that I can use to take advantage of the Power of Two offer to train a highly specialized character over the course of 8 months.
The ISK I ask for is to cover the cost of the Power of Two offer, skill books, learning implants, plus two additional months of training to finish off the plan.
I will be happy to supply API/EVEBoard details to investors for the character on commencement of it's training.
Amount: 5B. Return: principle + 40% following the sale of the character (5%/month). Duation: 8 months. Collateral: Zero.
If there is enough interest I am more than willing to go for additional multiples of 5B to train multiple characters.
If there are any questions feel more than free to ask.
Cheers,
Carazzle.

plausible story considering your posting history, but a first time loan at 5% without collateral.....
and no monthly interest payment if i'm reading this right
not quite the 'lol gtfo' level of requests we see here regularly, but thats still a bit high risk |

8 months is more than a lifetime in EVE. If something were to happen to you after half a year, the investors would have lost 100% of their investment. If you already have a business, then you should be able to pay monthly interest rates.
Also, it makes me frown that you imply you wil be enlarging your dept exposure "if there is enough interest", i.e. if you can get enough people to pay you money, why not accept even more money.... When you come to MD for the first time, best thing is to straight up demand the highest amount of money that you will need, so people can grill you on that right from the start. Present contingency plans for if you only get some of the money.
These tips won't help you now though, I think your best hope is to get money from someone that feel they know you personally. |

Yeah, I understand all of the risk is on the investor. I figured I may as well make the post since the worst that can happen for me is that I end up finding no-one. As for the monthly interest payment: I'll be changing that.

That is true, I didn't think of the interest that much; I was purely looking to simplify it on my end. I'll amend the OP for 5% payout monthly.
I suppose I should've asked for 20B in 5B slices. I wouldn't be looking to train more than 4 characters (purely due to time to sell at the end).
Thank you both for the responses.

How exactly do you not have 5 billion isk after "In this time I've trained and sold roughly 60 unique characters"?
i also hope you read whatever rules ccp has on character sales scams. |

The freighter alts barely break after PLEXing my accounts and paying for any of my PvP character's losses. The margin is very thin, which is exactly why I'm looking for extra capital to branch into more profitable training.
If you're skeptical on whether I actually trained and sold that many characters I can supply a list of their names and/or a list of the sales threads. |

So after 15 months of your profitable 60 unique character reselling, you don't have 5B in liquid assets to fund your own campaign? It's odd, and this is the conclusion me, and many other people will come to:
You are merely trying to use other people's money for your own activities, because you can't bear to use your own. Or, you do not want to risk your own ISK. |

so after 15months and 60 char sales yo dlnt have 5bil isk to keep this going,.
My advice to you is to stop buying and selling chars and start mining because your doing it wrong.
as 5bil / 60chars = 83.333333.333333333333r
so all that work for 83m per char transfered profit erm no thanx

The ISK from selling freighter pilots goes into PLEXing my 5 accounts + funding PvP losses and covering the initial costs for training another pilot. The margin in training them doesn't lead to a whole lot of profit after that. The margin in training the character I've got in mind is much higher, though it also requires a much more substantial initial cost.
At time of writing this I have 10.4B ISK over my character's wallets, 5B of which will be taken up in a week to keep my accounts subbed. If I threw my remaining 5B at this project I'd have bugger all left to cover any PvP losses; which is the entire reason I do this.
I have enough ISK to cover any interest payments, but not enough to outright run this without any external help.
Asset wise: I only keep a small pool of ships that I actively use, everything else gets sold. The vast majority of my wealth is sitting in my wallet, not in assets or market orders.
