I've mentioned once or twice in the forums that I didn't like the Rokh's bonuses because they're more of the same predictable Caldari railgun bonuses. I'll save my vitriol for another time, and instead write something useful.
I'd like to make a pool of unique ship bonuses for future use. Not only are they out of the ordinary, but they're "exotic and exiting" without pidgeonholing ships into certain setups. (Like the Hyperion's old MWD bonus. Its new mass reduction will benefit it no matter what setup it uses.)
Here's what I've come up with:
1. Percent reduction in turret signature resolution. 2. Agility bonus. 3. Large missile velocity bonus coupled with a smaller missile flight time penalty. (Makes missile fly extremely fast, but doesn't improve range too much. Off the top of my head: 20% velocity per level, -7.5% flight time per level. Maxed skills: 200% velocity, but only 125% range.) 4. Specific damage type bonus for turret charges. (I.e. bonus to small hybrid thermal damage). 5. Faster warp speed. Maybe for a scout craft? 6. Effectiveness of done-based ECM/web/energy vampire weapons. 7. Drone tracking bonus. 8. Smartbomb bonus! Okay, this reeks of pidgeonholing, but it's still pretty fun. 9. Scan resolution bonus. 10. Shield regeneration bonus.
And as far as more unique ships themselves go, how about a Caldari battleship with enough drone space to field two fighters? (Kind of like a mini-carrier, but with weapons and without the fighter-related bonuses.) Remember, Caldari were once renowned for their ace fighter pilots.
Comments? Any more ideas?

Those wouldn't need to be bonuses ("X per level of Y"). The ship would just have higher stats in the relevant field. For example, Inties and Covops already have faster warping, without taking up a bonus slot.

an alternative drone bonus could be extra drone control range and drone optimal range all as one bonus this would alow a drone sniper ship useing sentery drones and would be good for drone ships that you dont whant to do too much damage with drones like the new gallante BC if thats going to be a drone ship. This way it can have a big drone bay and get a drone bonus but not do the same damage as a dominix

I like the agi idea. Give it to a Thorax instead of the MWD bonus and it would have better acceleration with both, MWD and AB which would also make mission runners happy.

I love the idea, and ill add on to it as well. maybe we can see these bonuses in the future on specialist ships/tech 3.

Per level bonuses: +10% drone MWD and utility effect (non-damage, non-repair drones) +10% logistics drone repair amount and hit points +10% drone optimal range and activation range +20% smartbomb range +10% armor hit points +10% shield hit points +7.5% structure integrity (resistance) +7.5% afterburner and micro warpdrive efficiency 2% piercing damage per level (10% is pierced to next layer of hit points, 90% is dealt as normal at level 5, hull always recieve 100% damage before resistances... well maybe one percent is plenty enough) +20% Tractor Beam range +10% Tractor Beam strength* +20% Hypereuclidean Disruption Field range (decloaks cloakers) 5% chance of overcoming effect of a successful electronic warfare attack (does not include propulsion jamming) +3% effectiveness of <racial> naval doctrine warfare modules**

This is exactly the same as a tracking bonus.
Chance to hit = 0.5 ^ ( [ ( [ Transversal / (Range * Tracking) ] * [Signature resolution / Signature radius] ) ^ 2] + [ ( max[0, Range - Optimal] / Falloff ) ^ 2] )
5% reduction in turret signature resolution is the same as 5.26% increase in tracking.

Drones mwds are already broken so pointless unless its fixed

kinda nice ones but they could screw up logoff timers and we would be back to combatlogging.

Would be bad, armortankers would be killed despite tanking all armor damage and how would a ship be counted if all its hull is destroyed despite having 50% armor left ? Same would apply to shieldtankers once armor and structure are nailed up despite their shields holding fine i.e. in a 1o1.

We have something similar, the rapier. Longrange webber. Tractorbeams work on cans and it should stay that way, otherwise imagine a bs pulling ships into smartbomb or webber range.

Nice on the warfare links, however not all racials are balanced or usefull so it will gimp certain ships over others. The decloaking field would be interesting however guess you would need the stats before u can make a bonus for it.
Nice ideas but tbh the boni in eve are really enough. A handfull might be missing but remember the ships in eve are not designed to have one setup or one role. So the boni should always leave space for some other tasks.
