Hi, my alt's done all the req's non-race-spec's skills for this baby now all i need is to do industrials and the rest. But my question is the freighter of which race is the best ?

is the cargo capacity the number one attribute for freighters ?? or maybe there are some other stats that make him stand out from the freighter line

The Charon holds the most cargo. All other attributes are insignificant. The Obelisk is the most flown tho, because the Gallente have the best T1 indy (Iteron 5).

The Caldari one is biggest, the minimitar one fastest. The gallente one most common in a sense, as lots of ppl trian up for the iteron 5. Both the Gal and amarr freighters are somewhere between the minimitar one and caldari in terms of speed/capacity..
If you don't tihnk you will fill the freighter, the minimitar one is propably best as it move fastest.

thanks for all the feedback, now ive got some more info on the freighters ;> but isnt speed the most unrevelant attribute ?? i mean when ill fly this uber cow, ill do it in hi-sec 'n' only on insta bm's. whats the point sacrifacing capacity for speed when you are only warping and gate jumping ?

Thats the point, ppl only fly other freighters cause they have that race's industrial ship trained to lvl 5.
Btw you can contact my CEO if you want to buy a Charon

Fenrir=More agility=Faster to warp=faster route.
Cargo space seems the most unrelevent attribute when you get to that level of cargo space tbh.

You're forgetting that you can web the freighter to make insta warps. You can even get a trial account to do that for you.

hmm seems youre right it doesnt matter it its 785k m3 or 735k m3, couse every lvl is like 5 percent more ;>, so the main cryteria is the indy or the t2 indy's not the freighter itself ?

Yes, I am.
Like you said, you want to consider the t2 industrials also, as you will probably want to fly them too. I cannot say which race's t2 indies are the best, as I don't fly any of them.

As a Freighter pilot myself, I must say, that cargo capacity never was an issue so far, while speed and agility definitly is. When you are free to decide, go for the fastest and most agile vessel. Here the Minmatar freighter wins.
The T2 topic is relevant, though. I'd say, that the Minmatar Prowler is the best T2 blockaderunner, but I'm not sure which one is the best T2 big cargo transport ship. Anyways, Minmatar would win 2:1 at the worst against any other race.
Counting in the Industrials, Gallente has the best one. Should the best T2 big cargo transport turn out to be the Occator, this comparision would turn out to end up as a 2:2 tie between Gallente and Minmatar.

Repeat after me: There is no "Best"
Learn that, and you've gone a long way to understanding how to judge things in Eve.
There are ships that are "best" for certain things, depending what you want to do.
For Freighters:
Big Cargo: Caldari
Agility: Minmatar (VITAL in 0.0. All Freighters might be slugs, but I've lived by seconds in 0.0 when flying a Freighter more than once, and teh Minmatar shaves off several seconds....)
The Gallente is second biggest, but its real virtue is that if you train it, you also know how to fly an Iteron V.
The Amarr is 3rd in size, 2nd most agil, and best looking by far.

thats why ive taken the "best" name in those lil thingys (cant rmbr the name exactly:) itll be main for doing 0.0 transports, and pos-goods hauling so the agility side is the most significant attribute, ive made my mind on the minmatar one ;]

Agiliy and speed is only an issue if you are going to afk-trade in empire or if you dont have instas (which you definetly should have for 0.0). For anything else go for cargo.
