Because the Legacy Code has too much Psssssssssssssssh, nothing will ever get fixed until CCP stop wasting money on failed sparkle MMOs and instead rewrite the entire backend of EvE from scratch.

 No they can't.

It took over ten years for starcraft 2 and even then they didn't finish it. 60 bucks per campaign sounds like a finished game. If it isnt startraft or warcraft Blizz doesnt know what to do. But also no one knows what titan was about anyway.

Starcraft 2 was a cash grab, trying to cash in on the popularity of its predecessor in Korea. Unsurprisingly, the launch bombed hard and Starcraft has been a casual game ever since.

Are you saying he is right or are you trying to imply a game called Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft isn't related to world of warcraft?

Yup, the company went from stone age straight to hypercapitalist dystopia, they even skipped monarchy. I wonder if they'll ever experiment with socialism...

Well, consider this. The Korean Air Force had a Brood War division. They had enlisted servicemen go on leave specifically to play Brood War, in order to promote the KAF to the up-and-coming youth. When the transition to SC2 was made, the team was shut down due to the lack of interest by the public.

I don't think you understand exactly how big Brood War was there, it had the backing of companies like Samsung, the Korean telecommunications companies and others. It was on the TV, people built careers by playing it. When the sequel came out, pretty much nobody in Korea cared about it, and Blizzard had to throw around corporate lawyer-fu in order to get any foothold in there. Then there was the GOM paywall scandal, in which they just decided to charge people $20 for streams, which lead to lots of nerdrage in general.

Blizzard just want to milk out as much cash as possible, and the result was horrible. Last I checked LoL had established itself as the #1 game in Korea, and well... the rest is history.

I bet it was set up as the f2p, cash shop, p2w game from hell and they slowly started to realise that people won't keep falling for that **** and that it results in a purposely annoying, overly grindy, terrible game. While it's quite difficult to reform a sub based MMO into a reasonably well functioning f2p model one (and one that future users will fall for) it's entirely impossible to unfuck an MMO that's been made for f2p/p2w from the ground up unto a normally functioning sub based model.

 Back to the drawing board.
Yes, yes-áI am. Thanks for noticing.

My opinion on this matter is simple, they found out tablet and smartphones platforms are the "future" and that the Golden Age of MMO-¦s has since long passed.

Like the Secret Mirror Making skills of Ancient Venice, everybody now can make mirrors, so they now want a new Luxury Item, where they can charge you so much you will even be glad for giving them money.

Oh but fear not, they will keep pushing up their contorted schemes and upon uproar from the community will say it was a mistake, but people seem to forget it-¦s all about tactics. They will always push you into a corner to buy , and when you stop buying they will adjust, its like an endless .1 isk war against you.

Then again I could be wrong, but like Smedley, I for one believe they have several wonders they can-¦t easily replicate.

Mention of any game with "The Lost..." in the title always makes me think of the The Lost Admiral. Then I get nostalgic for all those awesome QQP wargames like The Grandest Fleet, The Perfect General, Conquered Kingdoms... The AI was hard, and that made those games so good.

Yeah I work in technology now and everybody is asking for ARM/smartphone solutions. A lot of people have replaced their desktops with it.

It would be great at least for Eve to have apps for skill que, industry, etc.
