Hi there :)
I love playing eve untill recently where they killed my lvl4 missions.. But well now when I play just by sitting in station I get quite crappy FPS and it lags even when the "Pleasure Hub - fullfill your needs" bla bla turns around, you can see it go laggy :(
And when I write it goes even WORSE! Down to even 0 FPS :S
I really have no clue whats wrong, I followed EVERY single advices ive found. Advanced settings in graphics, buffersize 512 and stuff like that. Reinstall game didnt work either.
And ive checked that my graphics drivers are the newest and my audio has NO acceleration enable and is disabled in eve.
PLEASE whats wrong!?

Do you have 512 megabytes of free RAM not being used by anything else?
If not, that's the problem. You're telling EVE "Okay, here is 512 megabytes of ram for you to use", and EVE takes that into account. If there isn't 512 megs for it to use, it will have a heart attack.

If you read my thread I said I read the thread about doing stuff to increase FPS = the thing here in known issues that tell you to set ram to HALF of your total ram which I did, im not a idiot, this is a serious topic please! :(

Riiiiiiight.. Press ctrl alt delete, click on the "Performance" tab, and see how much "Physical Memory (K)" is available. If it's less then 524,288 then there's your problem. I'm sorry for assuming before that you knew how to use the task manager.

Hmm.. that's not the problem then.
The only other thing I can think of is that maybe you forgot to turn off the page file?

I'm having same problem. Tried every single tip (pagefile, buffersize, etc) but still getting crappy FPS (0-7 FPS).
This problem is recent, I could play just fine about one/two weeks ago, and didn't change anything on my system.
Quick question, and not sure if it's related, but how many active market orders you have? Things started to go bad the day I started playing a bit more with the market and putting some region wide buy orders.

Is this happening just in this program or in all programs? A program to search for and benchtest your system would be 3DMark. Find a version that's suitable and give it a go.
Beyond that, I recommend reinstalling your video drivers. Personally, I had to find some hacked ones that gave me the resolution and performance I wanted, but start with the standard drivers from the company that makes your video card. Make sure to not just get the newest but get what's appropiate for your card/OS.
Lastly, you might consider reseating both the vidcard and the RAM. Friend of mine dropped down to 0 FPS recently and it was because his vidcard had come partially unplugged some how. Could still display low-end video, but it couldn't handle higher end apps. Just something to consider.

Hi. I was having the same problem. Something a friend told me is that each time you tab out of the game like to go to yahoo or surf the web, it makes the game laggier and laggier. When it starts lagging out I restart the game and try not to tab out and my lag issues pretty much went away. He says that when you tab out the game has a problem that makes your memory leak out. I dont know the details i just know that this info helped.
