Do you gain sec status from killing mission deadspace NPC's or complexes or only rats?
I have updates on my standings from some on one char, but not on the other. Is it only from Overseers?

Specificly, char A requests mission. Char B, unrelated to A, warps into said mission using probes and kills the BS. I didn't get any sec status gain from it last night, but in the previous days I did. It is because some were deadspace missions NPC's and others were regular mission NPC's? Lots of people leave World's Collide open, probing them out in popular systems appeared to be a good way to get sec status up.

Nobody knows? So you must do your own missions or kill lowsec rats to get it up?

What am I doing wrong?
Sec Status Gains vs Bounty Logs
The sec status gains were from running a plex. Since then I ran multiple missions, the latest of which are in the wallet bounty log. No change in sec status since, 4 hrs later of constant killing.

As your sec status goes up only certain NPCs will boost it further.
Think of it as Concord going "Yes, we know you can pop a gurista frigate, now try killing something that will impress us".

afaik
You only gain sec every 15 minutes or so - your best increase during those 15 minutes is applied.

kill BS. Killing cruisers and frigs take forever to bring up your sec status

Should I petition to GM's? I've killed everything from plex to 0.2 to 5m DG BS commanders and it hasn't gone up since that SS.....

your best kill every 15 mins is the one that gets counted, dont ask me when the 15 mins starts or ends cuz i dont know
