Well, I've just come back to EVE after not playing since January, when the Manu. changes were quite new, and I had corp cash to spend getting corp BPOs through research.
Now, I'm out on my own, picking up some BPOs to research and I've noticed the cost is fairly enormous, 5 mill to research a 7 mill ship BPO to ME 10, no wonder the BPC market is slower these days.
I notice people offering private research services, could anyone have beaten this quote, cos I'd like to chat if you can

Check different stations and regions too. You may have to wait a bit for a slot but the price can vary somewhat.

In the region where I currently am (empire), there are several ME slots that have wait times of 2-4 days. How your managing to spend 5 mil researching something to ME 10 i don't know. If your prepared to wait NPC ME slots can be had with a 3 day wait before the job begins but a cost of 8.33isk/hour. You just need to look around. Another option is to get a POS

Hi there, please click the below link to get some details on my ME research service. I charge 3m per slot per week. If your bpo only takes ie 5 days to research, you will only pay for the 5 days of research, so in this case it would be 2,142,857 isk for that job.
I also offer a business grade service for those interesting in having their research done faster and this is charged at 6m per job.
Insurance is also offered at a value of up to 90%. Details can be better sourced from my links below, the bottom being the current jobs we have queued up.
