I was hopping wormholes when I jumped into this c5-c5:
https://eveeye.com/?opt=ICPS&system=J123602
I was a bit surprised that all the pocos were NPC and there was absolutely no sign of life in the system. No dead towers, wrecks, nothing. I know Black Holes were fairly unpopular before the updates but currently they seem to be much better based around the whole speed/missile bonus scheme.
How have people adapted to this? Has anyone actually moved to a Black Hole? Is anyone interested in one? (stealth advertising w/ new cloak effect) Hades Effect /-áConflict Resolution /-áPirate Protection |

That's actually a pretty good WH with good PI. Definatly worth some nice ISK since the change with black hole effect in Hyperion. I myself have not lived in any black hole but I can really see this as an option now at least. |

Pre-patch black holes were a big pain, since hyperion tho they are great, especially if you happen to like missiles. |

It takes while for people to move around, as big and established groups are unlikely to move at all, and smaller ones are more careful (thus slower) about it. And possibly even more importantly, lower classes and lower statics (like C4s and C5/C2s for example) are the ones people will aim for first. To have proper active inhabitants in C5/C5 BH it is still a bit too early.
But yes, people are slowly moving into BHs in general and people arent avoiding them like plague when in chain. W-Space Realtor |

Yup. Hyperion was a big boost to W-Space activity and a nice gift to the Wormhole community in general. Thank you CCP, for taking the time to give Wormholes another look despite having implemented them so recently to begin with. |

Well they are certainly better than they have been.
Living in one would be a challenge still, but I can see cheater Tengu being a "thing" in a black hole. |

Also the Mordus Legion ships. A Barghest in a black hole would be quite the site. Hades Effect /-áConflict Resolution /-áPirate Protection |

Why? W space is a lot more active/populated now than it was last year. Black Holes are a certain improvement. You have many more connections, more possibilities, etc. Hades Effect /-áConflict Resolution /-áPirate Protection |

Was in a c4 and c3 in the last 24 hours both of which had interbus pocos. No residents in the c4 but c3 was occupied. I guess if your not doing pi why give the easiest free Intel away? Why spend the time hauling the pocos in. And the cost if your not gonna use em?
On the topic of black holes. Imo they are a huge improvement. But I dunno if I would go out of my way to find one to live in. The class and static are the 2 biggest factors in deciding on a hole. Yeah some effects are more popular then others. Pulsar and wolf obviously. But I don't think a black hole would be bad enough that if it was the only hole left in w space for a Corp to take that they would just not move in.

I think the advantages they give for defensive purposes is just great. Most people roll in armor T3s such as Prot blasters and webbing Lokis. Black Holes cut the effectiveness of webbing, boost over all speed, lock range and missile velocity. So while this may make the armor T3s faster, a kite shield Tengu fleet would be even faster. You get a strong home team advantage. Hades Effect /-áConflict Resolution /-áPirate Protection |
