Im kind of interested to know, ive got an Omen and I got bored so im fitting it T2 for pvp. Ive got all my meds and lows pretty much covered.
Ive got
Web, Scram, 10mn Afterburner II
1 Medium armor rep II, 2x Energized adaptive nano's and 2x Heatsink II's.
4Now im stuck on highs. I dont have the fitting room for Heavy pulse Laser II's so heres the question in its simplest form...
4x Focused Medium Pulse Laser II's > 4x 'Named' Heavy pulse Laser I
Or 4x 'Named' Heavy pulse Laser I >
4x Focused Medium Pulse Laser II's ?
Which is better for pvp/dmg/dps, Heavy Pulse Laser I's or Focused Medium Pulse Laser II's?

i would start with the guns first, then fit the rest. go for the heavy pulses.

Normally I would to but in this case I need to know which is better right now...I dont have enough time to run and get heavy pulses.

The medium-sized named turrets should outdamage the T2 small turrets, but you might have tracking problems with those, so T2 small is probably the best option unless you are only interested in damage.

Id go with the t2 focused med pulses, am pretty sure they'll out damage the named heavy pulses (dont quote me on it I havent do the numbers but am confident they do).
Also the t2 focused med pulses will have better tracking and the added ability as you have said to fit t2 ammo which is always nice

Ah sorry for the confusion, Focused Medium Pulse Laser II's are medium turrets. So the T2 Mediums will probably beat T1 Heavies? Alright ill go with them.

Ah, i always get confused with amarr turrets as they sometimes use "Medium" for small turrets and "Heavy" for medium turrets. In that case, i would go for T2 focused meds, they will definitely dish out more and can track better than their heavy counterparts.
