I really like that "Show Info" is the top most menu selection for portrate right click, but I hate that "Start Conversation" right below it. Please reverse "Invite to..." and "Show Info". Or just add a spacer below "Show Info".
I know it sounds petty, but it's such an easy fix.

Probably a quick fix, yet would have a big effect. How much bandwidth does this sort of accidental convo take up on the servers?

If you hit the button, you get asked to pay 100 ISK if the person doesnt have you in his addy book. Cant really understand your issue here.

Most people have cspa charges disabled because gangleaders will ***** at you a lot if you leave it on.

Actually you beat me to the punch. I was actually going to start a thread like this today. The most COMMON action associated is with "show info" and the most common accident is "Start Convo".
Lets make this a bumped thread what you guys say?

Its still mighty annoying though. Even if you click No, an empty chat tab is loaded which creates some lag and makes you have to spend time trying to close that window.
Changing the ordering in the menu should be easy, so I agree with the OP.

Well, like most advanced players, we turn off that ISK garbage cus it cause to much crap when you are trying to gang up fast. And, if you say "You will be spammed" very simple.....after I get ganged I turn on the option to refuse all invites.

I just add my alliance and friendly alliances to my friends list... that way they don't get charged but I can still run the CSPA charge as well. --------------

You can whitelist full alliances/corporations without the need to add every single member. And beside corp/alliance who are you gonna join gang withs? Friends? Well they should be in your addressbook. So my CSPA rate is 100k and stays there.
WARNING: your corp and alliance aren't putted automaticaly on the whitelist when you join them! So this has to be done by any new member and if you switch corps it has to redone.

He didn't say they WERE; he said they SHOULD be. And thanks for pointing out why CCP should make it a requirement that people *approve* you putting them in your address book. ________________________________________________

This isn't really about the charge, or the fact that a pop-up might stop you from making a fool of yourself to your enemies. After all, we can't force people to set up their CSPA charges how we would like.
It is simply about usability. Helping the user get to the content they are most interested in, in the quickest and easiest way.

I find it a useful tool to see who's checking local or not, so I set the charges to 0 :)

100% agreed. Sure, the address book wasn'rt designed for this, but it is the smartest thing to do. It has several advantages.
A. You can spot a hostile right away if they have that green dot. If all of your friends and corp and alliance mates have green spots, it's a little bit harder to spot hostiles. Green makes them stand out. And WHENEVER I see new faces in local without a avatar, I ALWAYS show info on them and if hostile add them to addy book, if not then I just have his face.
B. Great for chaising hostiles. If you see them disappear from local, you can see if they logged off or if they are still on.
C. And it's also great to see when the server is going to crash. Nothing more funny than seeing several hundred BoB log off at once. You just know a node went down or the server might go down as well.

Most ppl put their enemies in the buddies list and then no CSPA question will be asked when you miss the show info while at war.
