Edited by: SauronTheMage on 07/08/2006 09:23:42 Looking to purchase a caldari command ship for a corp mate.
I believe it's the vulture command ship that he's looking for (the missile command ship). They are 157 mil in the forge region.
I am hoping that someone who makes them can offer a lower rate :)

lol... I'm looking for a deal, not standard market pricing.
Heck if I can get cerbs for under 200 mil a pop (won't say how much under lol.. and no I won't say who I get them through), I'm sure someone is selling nighthawks for under 110mil or so. :)

Heh, again... if I wanted to get a command ship from the market at market prices... I wouldn't be on here posting a buy order.

Why would anyone sell you a Nighthawk for 110 or any other kind of deal? I see no reason displayed in the thread yet.

The same reason I can get cerbs for way under market price.. because the corps who builds them are nice people and will allow you 1 or 2 etc ships from them below market price per month (to prevent reselling of their produce).

Act like what. I am stating to you there is no point in telling me to look at the market for a ship, because if I know what the market price is. What's the point of posting a buy order here for something if I was going to purchase it off the market?

I'd suggest you get one of those cheap Cerbs instead and trade it for a Nighthawk. That will be much easier.

Well, although I would love to make a quick 100mil+ profit by purchasing a cerb & reselling it on market to get money for a nighthawk, I have an agreement with the people I deal with that anything we purchase through them at discounted pricing will remain within our corp until it's used up / destroyed (unfortunatly they don't build caldari command ships or I'd deal with them).
Since I honour my deals with other corps, I will not go back on my word. So, that is not a viable answer... and obviously no-one who has read this thread (so far) happens to build caldari command ship or isn't willing to provide a discount on their ships.

let me just start off by saying a few things..
That hac you get for 180 mil cost about 30 mil to make ( and you call that a deal)
The command ship that is about 3x better then a hac cost 150 mil on the market and about 60 mil to make.
lets see... better ship cost less and cost more to make, but yet you want a deal?
Get this in your head.. the only reason why the command ships cost 150 mil is because no one can fly them really. Once people start to fly them the prices will go way up as the demand goes up.
Keep waiting and watch the price go up as you look for your uber deal.

He's got a point. You can get HACs for about 100m (if you look in the right places). The command ships are twice the cost, but end up selling for 150m? That's already a pretty good deal.

I actually get the cerbs for alot less then 180mil, I just posted 100mil+ profit to let you know it's not some 10mil discount or something.
In regards to how much it actually costs to build the ship that's irrelevant as everything is based off market prices. Even if the cerb only costs 30mil to make for certain corps, and command ships 60mil.... If I can get a price on the command ship of even 100mil or so (for nighthawk), that is still a discount off market.

I'm just saying buy one and in the mean time be looking for someone that well give you deals because the prices of these ships will increase.
if you wait for a deal and never find one then the price goes up your stuck at that high price
