I just have to say... Damn good job CCP. No other MMO that ive tried (counting 12 so far) has had the same level of dedication and involvement from their creators/dev's/troubleshooters. You are doing an awesome job even under strenous circumstances, please keep it up.
To those who might not agree with me... the EvE team is putting in an effort that most other MMO creators consider to be insane. Compared to games that has 10 times the number of players and 50 times the resources, its an even more impressive job. They might not be quick to respond due to the heavy workload, but they do reply. This is more then many othe rgames where you dont even get a message asking if your trouble has been resolved. A week after its sent in, if it hasnt been updated, its removed from the system. Tough luck, we had a busy week or whatever. Take a moment to think of the job they are doing, and show a little patience and forgivness with the hard working staff of EvE.

They do a damn good job for sure Not much negative to say about them...Nothing i can come up with atm...
Keep up the good work CCP, and continue giving us the best MMO game out there

I've had an issue with disconnects for about the last week or so.
While still unresolved the level of attention to my petition has been outstanding.
Most other games would have given the canned response "Must be on your end" and closed the ticket.
I've got a petition going back and forth over 5 replies now.

timme taken trying to install the game: 6 hours time taken to work out why the game wont let me log in: 4 hours (no this is nothing to do with mastercard :P ) time taken waiting for pettition to be replied to: 2 days and growing...
anyway after reformatting my hard drive because the eve client is so damn sensitive about things like partitions, im finally ingame and it is looking good >.<
but some stuff NEEDS!!! to be fixed, otherwise its to intimerdating for new players

heck, CCP even quoted me from some forum post i made over a year and a half ago, a player recently pointed it out to me..
here is part of my quote from the Quotes page here on eve-online:

2 years and 7 months playing and i still stand behind that remark 110%. if not even more so.. we are lucky to have a devteam that programs for ccp not because of the fat payroll, but because they are and always will be, passionate about Eve.
It's not every day a development team gets to see their dream come true. -and by the looks of the sneak peak we had of the dev's and the inner workings of CCP in general from the recent EveTv interviews and out-takes from the alliance tourney event, it's even rarer that devs can have that dream come true and have such a passionate and artistically free (if not a down outright crazy-fun) company and work environment in which to see that dream come true.
once again, big kudos & hats off to CCP for holding steadfast against all odds and opinions to see they're collective dream come true. -job well done.

(while being in the computer industry myself, the only downside i can see with CCP is the fact that i dont have enough qualifications to try and get myself a job working for such a fine company myself..) -ah well, at least i can enjoy the fruits of their labor.  --- |
