Hey. i am gonna sell one of my pvp chars.
It have 18 mill sp, and can fly 3 races of bs, and are a very good raven and deimos pilot.
Skills
Starting bid: 2 billion isk
Sniper rule: 15 mins
Buyout: 5 billion isk (yeh know its high, give me a good offer and i might accept that
 )
Auction ends: 20:00 eve time 8. august

oh lol dont worry, u wont, i used this char for empire wars and stuff so had to be under -2 =) will post a pic tomorow, did just log of and are too lazy to log on again :P

I don't think that would have been the case, but a 15M sniper rule anyways as Cow pointed out.

Thats kind of a weird analogy but as i said before dont hink he is gonna honor our deal.
P.S if something ends at 8 it ends AT 8 that means when the clock strikes 8 it stops not when the clock strikes 8:01

If the end date you can pay rent for your apartment is Sept 29th and you pay on the 29th, are you late? No. Besides, no one would deny a bid because it was 1 second late (and our 2 bids were not late).

I don't believe so. It is only exact to the amount of digits specified. Had he extended the time to include milliseconds then what you are both saying would be true.
If a qualifying time for a race is 20 minutes 0 seconds on the dot and you come across the line at 20 minutes 0 seconds, you qualify for that race. Hence why some races extend to thousandths of a second.

Anyways, I stick with my sniper bid of 2.9B within the 15 minutes specified. If I get the character great. I haven't played for 25days now so what is a few more if I don't.
I'm not 100% certain on the formalities of these auctions and will accept the seller's decision on the matter as it is entirely up to him/her.

still says that it ended at 20:00 so its over at 20:00. You need to put a valid bid in at 19:59:59 to get a valid bid

The clock didn't strike 8:01 as you put it. The clock struck 8:00 as the bids came across.

We just keep pushing eachopther up, but I already bought an account and prepaid it for 1 year just for this character specifically. I'd have loved to have bought him for 3b or whatever, but it looks like that wont happen now.
So is 3.5b your bid? Or were you just saying you might bid that high?

Same. I sent 2.6b. Luckily the GM gave both of us our isk back witin 45 seconds of petitioning. Talk about fast! The scammer got banned, perhaps even on his main account. All is well now.
