Lots of discussion on the forums about this event, sorry for taking a while to quickly edit the fraps and throw it together. I just had to spend extra few minutes to make the cheesy Star Wars scroller after seeing Chowdown's banner.
It's a first vid, probably should have spent more time editing and polishing it -- I know FRAPS is shaky, but the "conditions" weren't exactly ideal to film. Yeah, I didn't have many CDs handy to pull music from so most will guess which soundtrack was handy, hope it works.
Technicals aside, I cannot but feel that this could have been an epic event to fraps & edit. But after seeing it all... I just can't help but feel let down.
Both sides tried their best, but in the end IMHO -- we all fought the lag, and the lag won.

I have to say, this is pretty nice. The intro was pretty nicely done, Would have been funny if you did some kind of panning down to the eve map, from the Starwars scrolling text animation.
I'm only about 2:26 minute in the movie, and this kinda shows how much RA has thought about the whole 'use' of capital ships in combat, you see they got the numbers, they got the resources and they know what to do to be able to 'field' and support their capital ship fleet.
The whole "cynofield jump" animation staying there for a 30-45 seconds was pretty funny to see ;)
And, You see the whole group of Capital ship.. you wonder.. what's that little thing down there? It's a stinkin chimera! I just love how small that piece of crap is

Actually, I Shot The Sheriff is a song by Bob Marley, and would definatly fit the comment.

I'm no music buff, but I did go for the I Fought the Law... anything that works for you thou .
I believe the POS was put in reinforced in two-three siege cycles (20-30min) -- the RA fleet engagement slowed it down a little, but afaik even with that many dreads you need two cycles to put a hardened large tower into reinforced. Maybe one of the capital pilots can correct me.
