In one of the EVE TV pre-recorded thingy's it showed one of the artists designing a "new battle-cruiser". While he showed what he had, he mentioned that some of the people at EVE were not happy with the design of the Minmatar ships up to now. And that they wished to make them more aggressive and less junky.
So does this only apply to new ships being made? Or will there be redesigns of some of the ships already in play? And if there are redesigns does is this going to happen before the graphical upgrade or are they slated to be released then?
Sorry if I'm late with this stuff, but I have only recently dl'ed and watched the EVE TV tournement.

Minmatar ships are not "designed".
They are built over time by collecting little pieces of junk in the natural workings of a sewage pipe.

I like most of the Minmatar ships :).
When I first got my Rupture I thought it looked odd, but I've grown to like its look :).

Total redesign of the optics.

The redesigned Burst and Scythe didn't improve in my eyes.
Stupid looking paddles do not make a ship look good. The old Scythe model at least looks like a refinery in space.
Somehow the changes feel like the improvements of the Bellicose. I dunno what to do with it after three massive nerfs, so I change it for the sake of change.

They seems to have less loose stitching hanging around. Which is FTW! in my eyes. 
Better then the current models, definitely.

Well Minmatar models are not my favorite. But I can handle most all of them. Except for one. The Stabber I find to be absolutley horrible to gaze upon. It may be the ugliest ship in the entire game.
But I really dig that battlecruiser design and I would be all for a general Minmatar advancement towards more aggressive looking ships.
Anyone know about a timeline? Or are they just adding them when they have the time/resources?
