Greetings
was wondering if there is a URL or a guide out there that tells what mods and other schuff drops from the NPC pirats. Like i know that the sansha's drop lasers, armor tanking mods and heavy energy vamps. I would like to know more bout the other rats i haven't had a chance to kill

Im sure some NPC'er will give you a link lol....
All I can think of is Delve NPC's (Blood raiders) Give you nice diminishing NOS'ies which are nice  And its a damn quiet region if you go in the back way through Synd>OR>Fountain>Delve

If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure every NPC will drop one of these.

As a rough guide it just depends on the weapons and defenses the rats use. Guristas drop missile launchers and shield mods, Angels drop projectile stuff and shield mods, Bloods drop energy mods and armor tanking stuff etc. I haven't seen a link that gives lists like this though.

No doubt. I love killing an Angel Commander and finding one of those in the loot. Makes me wonder what they were really doing in the belts.

It really is all by chance, and normally unless you find a 'named' rat you aren't going to get anything thats worth more than what you get for reprocessing it. Just look for TRUE sanshas, DARK blood raiders, DREAD guristas, etc. Make sure you loot thier cans.

Blood Raiders - Nos/Lasers/Neutralizers/ArmorTankMods/ArmorReps
Sansha - Same as above, should drop missle launchers too but they dont seem to.
Guristas - Railguns, Missle Launchers, Shield Mods
Serpentis - blasters, some railguns, armor tanking mods,
Angels- Armor/Shield Tanking Mods, Projectiles, Missle Launchers

If you go ratting in low security space, you might come across some really nice treats.
I killed a Serpentis Chief Spy today (I was in a Kestrel...!) and it dropped a Beta Hull Mod Expanded Cargo, which I sold for 11million+ ISK. Because I'm using a newly created character (only about 4 days old), this left me VERY happy. 
When you get a treat like that, it certainly outweighs the risks of ratting in low sec, especially in a cheap frigate.

Guristas also drop ECM stuff, and I think they all drop generic stuff like sensor boosters and transfer arrays and the like.

Angels don't drop sensor boosters, i think only Serpentis drop those.

generally whatever race of ship a rat is flying it will drop items associated with that race, i.e. gallente ship rats drop railguns and armour tank, minmatar ships drop projectile guns (and trash), ammar drop lasers, caldari missiles and shield tank items, etc.

The one thing I've noticed that seemed worth of comment was, in killing a whole bunch of Caldari and Amarr ships recently (and I presume Guristas and Sanshas/Bloods would be the same) .... I didn't get a single, solitary cargo expander of any kind at all.

I got mine in Carrou, try there. And it was a large cross in the overview, a Serpentis Chief Spy.

Not true. A 55k Sansha cruiser dropped an Internal Force Field Array worth about 20-25m on escrow for me.
Now officers, they drop crap. I killed a 9.1m True Sansha battleship and it dropped a tag and 10MN afterburner. That was a big letdown.
