The training time for skills is calculated on the Primary and Secondary Attributes required for that skill.
If you use an implant part way through training, does the time to complete the training alter to match your new attribute levels?
Or does it still calculte the time based on the original attributes values when training started?
- The only stupid question is an unaksed question.
- The only time a question is easy to answer is when you know the answer.
- Do not hesitate to ask questions. For asking questions is the best way to learn.

I don't think implants help if you plug in halfway through training but you could plug in the implant then change skill being trained and then change back to the original skill, that should affect the training time.

Training time does not change unless you change to a different skill , then switch back after the implant is plugged in. I went from 4 days 12 hours to 3 days 8 hours remaining on a skill, but not until i started a new one and then switched back again.
Your Mega Afocal Pulse Maser I perfectly strikes Asteroid (Veldspar) [R0ME], wrecking for 798.3 damage.
Your 425mm Railgun I perfectly strikes Guardian Captain, wrecking for 685.9 damage.

Hint for those using implants and scared of being poded. Train longtime skills while traveling in unsecure space, thus if you get poded and loose the implants I think it's a fair chance you still have the lower trainingtime you had when you started the skill with the implants.
That way you have somne time to replace the implant without loosing any training time :)
And bowoow raising primary and secondary from 14 to 17 helped a lot with trainingtimes ;)

To answer the original question, installing an implant after starting a skill training will not affect the training time.
When a skill is selected for training the time that it will take to train is added to the current time to give the completion time. The completion time is then written into the database. (That's why you're training still runs even though you are not online.)
Once the current time has exceeded the completion time, the skill training is done. In order to force the server to recalculate the time (after installing an implant) you need to switch skills.
