as always I'm sorry if this is either old or has been posted before etc etc blah blah and all that crap, just found it and I think its a really cool way to find artists/songs that are similar to your favourite ones:
Pandora Internet Radio
I found it strange that the songs are both free and not broken up with small adverts or jingles (like they do on real radio to stop you recording whole songs with no interuptions) I know its not very high quality but it sounds higher than other internet stations that I listen to.

Are you sure it's free?
I haven't signed up (just tried the intro), but reading the TOS says:

it's been posted a couple of times before but still its a good site  . personally i preffer www.last.fm you download the station and it does pretty much the same job but better and simpler imo
