i am leaving eve. i never been too busy on the forums, so a lot of people might not know me, but anyways...
eve was real fun playing and i did all the stuff in the game, mined arkonor in a probe, lost it to rats when they implemented scramblers for them, lost a few moas to rats, stupitiy and pvp, mined in an armageddon, fought in an armageddon, moved millions of minerals in my indy, joined the trade channel, chased pirates with the cfs navy - all in all a good game. but i still got bored - 5 month of playing and not much to achieve atm, quiet a few bugs here and there, waiting for tech lvl2 for some time now... sorry, had to cancel.
this still was the best game i ever played, maybe i will come back someday, who knows.
two things i am pretty sure about:
1. beta should have lasted for like 6 more month.
2. ccp should start introducing more stuff more quickly - i know loads of ppl who r just as bored as i am, cause there is little to do.
pls, dont get me wrong, this is no whining and stuff - eve is a good game, and it has got a huge potential. but its just not enough to keep me another 153 days playing it like hell...
anyways, have a good time all, enjoy the game and btw, my corp got my stuff - dont ask.

That was fun like once, twice, possibly even three times but it really, really did stop being amusing and creative somewhere between time 4 and 945937672.
It's a brave new world out there, go explore it please, maybe you will contribute in some way, some day.

Irnaii - sorry to see you go man :( You aren't a person to ***** and complain at all, and I think you have some very valid points there.
I'm gonna hang in for a bit longer and see if things improve - hopefully they will and we'll see you back again.

Though you donŠt know me youŠre still right on that one  . But well all I can say is that 1. I still love the game and 2. I have been waiting for the new stuff for so long now I ainŠt gonna give up right before they are about to implement it .

erm, i DID. and a LOT. with my corp mates, alone, with other corps ppl... still got bored. like i said, played it since the game came out and for a few weeks of beta - and i still do the same things - mainly.
but hey, if thats enough for you miso, np at all. enjoy it - thats all i said.

Honestly, have some wit and creativity. Im having a blast atm in Eve, and im using the same game parameters as you. Be creative. If you can't be, then fair enough, move on. But don't expect to be spoonfed everything!

miso, as i said b4, if the game is good enough for you atm, and you enjoy it - thats cool. gratz on that - keep playing. and trust me, the ppl who got bored of it are not all 15 year old kids that are lacking creativity and wit, who cant use the given "parameters" - i earn my r/l money with creativity...
i just got bored, and i am really, really sure it is not ALL my fault...

Yep, I understand. There are a ton of problems in this game that turned me off too (no market, no black market, crap NPC corps), but I guess Im a masochist... come back in a month, maybe things will have changed. Its a shame when mature players leave...

Irnaii, its been a pleasure playing eve with u, not only to i feel Nerd have lost a great member but also lost a good friend from this game. We've had alot of good times, and i only hope that u come back soon, maybe when there is more to do.
About content: oh we tried, we explored alomost all aspects of the game by ourselves. We had corp events even started a few interesting roleplay situations, but there simply is not enough to do for someone who's been playing with retail release.

Guess Im stupid for enjoying the game. Glad I've found out now. Maybe I'll go read a book and educate myself - I so want to be bored with Eve.
