No need for them. Basically, all the info in the pirate guides applies to anti-pirates as well. The only real difference is the target.

Just remember, without us pirates, low sec wouldn't be dangerous... and therefor mining in lowsec wouldn't be as profitable because everyone could do it.
And, there would be no need for low sec freighter services.. because theres nochance someone might just randomly kill you...whether you like it or not, pirates are here to stay.. and are a very big part of the economy.

I would say - pick a lowsec area and talk to known anti-pirate corps in that area. They make the rules. In the are where I was at one point in time, from my memory, the general rule was to engage if: 1) Target attacks you, your corp, or friendly corps 2) Target's security status is below X.X 3) Target has hostile standing with your corp or anti-pirate corps in the area.

I also want to point out in this that some common sense is needed when following the pirate guides.. most pirates aren't gonna hang in belts unless they are attacking someone.. so instead of scanning the belts(you know how to use the scanner right?!) you might scan..somewhere other then the belts..
Biggest problem is.. any pirate worth his salt wont be scanning from a planet, or a moon, or another belt.. they'll typically scan from safespots.. and only times they're at planets/moons tends to be when they are about to kill someone.. and then most wont stick around for long.

Exactly! I was part of Universal Exports some time ago and that's a nice corp to be in... No quotas, you do what you wish, and yes, they are quite anti-pirate... I definitely recommend them. Good luck, mate!

Edited by: Dekiri on 09/08/2006 08:07:48 Edited by: Dekiri on 09/08/2006 08:06:50 Rather go pirate dude. You will get more adrenaline rushs and you will definitly get more kills. Most pirates, unless they are complete newbs are damn hard to catch and usually can't be taken 1vs1 wich means you have to gank them with numbers wich also means that you will miss out on the adrenaline a good fight provides. Not to mention that most anti pirates are just bitter miners with ZERO pvp knowledge who trashtalk local more then any pirate could. In reality you really only loose if you are "anti-pirate". Noone respects anti pirates unless they are really good and to be honest i have not encountered any really good anti-pirate corp yet in lowsec.
Well not to talk to bad about the "anti pirates" they can be a fountain of joy and they are really entertaining at times. But if you wanted to become a clown i think you also should name it like that and not call it "anti-pirate".

I like 1vs1 as well it usually does hardly ever happen with anti pirates, they tend to either bait -> gank or not even think about 1vs1.

The irony of this statement must have gone over your head.
Next time you attack a miner in a belt, please make sure you fly a mining ship yourself. You can fit a few drones a couple of turrets, but a scrambler would not be appropiate, just try and trap the victim between cans, and keep bumping him |

You obviously are either extremly bitter, ignorant or just have no idea what you are talking about. For me for example it is funny to shoot a miner or two to set off the bee's and get some real action (usually does not work all i get is smack from people who are stupid enough to fit t2 strips in lowsec without anyone guarding them). Killing miners and doing 1vs1 are two completly different things. And a pirate honoring a 1vs1 is rather nice if you ask me, because he does not have to.I personally rather shoot targets that have no chance or at least can't straight own me and pick my fights on my terms. That is btw the secret to succesful money making while pirating.

I never find miners
It's not fair, I always end up fighting someone who does have friends nearby, or can fight back. I want an easy kill, a nice one; no more velators and no more shuttles need clutter the killboards!
I have no idea what miners are crying about. I never find the Megathron fully decked out with Miner IIs, or even the Brutix... :\ Miners must be thriving... and if they are in low-sec... please, throw me a bone. I'm a lonely pwner wandering the belts.

Sure here you go.
1. Find a pirate guide you like. 2. Adopt a holier than thou attitude. 3. Accuse someone of being a pirate. 4. Kill them. 5. Tell them you are better than them.

I would tell you where they are my friend but sadly they are rare and usually drop nice cargo extenders + miner II and all that stuff that really does sell well (usually to said miners lol) so i would be ruining my own profit.
ps: one hint ... less people = more miners less systems together = more miners

Ikvar's Antipirate 101 guide:
Step One: Find pirates, be they just criminally flagged or -5.0 and lower.
Step Two: Shoot pirates.
Step Three: Repeat from step one.
Hope this helps.

Edited by: Terraform on 09/08/2006 13:13:38 I have the perfect solution to the problem with the missing anti-pirate guides:
Read some pirate-guides
1. Insert a lot of egocentered nonesense about justice.
2. Mix it with a good portion of whine.
3. Add the contents of a Batman comic-book
and you have an antipirate-guide.
Good luck!

Theres no irony at all, If I find miners stupid enough to stay in belts for the 30secs - minute it takes to find them... and have no defence. They deserve to die, theyre incompitence not mine.
If you gang ganks me all well and fair, I must have made some error for you to be able to
