I love British potato crisps. American chips are just utter crap compared to Brit crisps, but they're very hard to find here in Miami Beach. I checked and found out that Seabrooks ships them through the mail...but the order form says "UK Mainland Only".
So my question is...does anybody know a way to get crisps delivered overseas from the UK? Does anybody know if Seabrooks has an e-mail address so I can ask them? Because I couldn't find one

They had them on special offer in ASDA last week. 6 packs for a pound. Go and pester the manager of your nearest Walmart and they will probably get them in.

Americans, with all due respect, have no idea how to make crisps.

Cape Cod make pretty darn good chips, yes.
Also, Trader Joe's brand of chips are tasty.
If you need the British taste, try looking up some distributors in Canada. They import a lot of goodies from Brit-related countries, and also manufacture (under license) things that are cheaper to produce than import from the UK.
Also, look up locally some British pub or restaurant in your town. Can't speak for Miami Beach, but here in LA they all have gift-shops/convenience stores next to them. Stocked with all kinds of tasty snacks (at outrageous prices), but at least they're just a few miles away.
I'm hankerin' for Chicken Chips.

The most popular crisp maker in the UK is 'Walkers', which I think are hit and miss depending on the season, sometimes of the year they're great. other times they're nasty. Golden Wonder were consistantly better and my favourite, but have ceased production. Tesco's own brand are the best I've found lately...
Point still stands that 'Walkers' are the most popular in the UK, owned by Pepsi Co. which sells the same crisps under the 'Lays' brand in the USA. Can't you just buy these?

Mmm seabrooks, nice but shallow in comparison to kettle chips.

I intentionaly don't have them that often to preserve the unique bliss that is eating them, absolutely magic

Lays are decent if you just want plain chips, but they don't have any of the good flavors that British crisps have.

Good luck Nik, potato crisps aren't allowed on airplanes anymore. For security purposes they will only be sold at one store in the UK for one hour a day.

I find that since Walkers changed to their "SunSeed" oil the crisps have gone down hill. They just aint the same. But yes seabrook crisps are the best. Prawn*****tail ftw.

Okay, it's great that you like Cape Cod chips, Lay's, Trader Joe's, Kettle Chips, or Better Made, but I'm looking for the British crisps because they have meat flavors like beef, chicken, and lamb.
I'd just like to know what the name of that Brit store in Palm Beach is so I can find the closest one.
Hell, maybe I'll just make a trip to Palm Beach on a day when I don't have anything to do. --------------------- Originally by: Herko Kerghans Nik = win. Period.
