hi,
i have a file that went missing last nite, re-uploaded it and eerything looked fine. now i'm getting reports (and tested myself) that my video downloads the full ~300mb but instead of playing the movie it's 300mb of "this file has been removed"?

First off, great work Chribba and crew; I've been using eve-files for a number of years to share my eve-related content and have always been very pleased with the service. On to my problem:
I recently uploaded a number of forum signatures for some of my corp m8s in F4T4L to use; some of which were deleted. They were eve-related as they all follow a general theme (a-la Outbreak) and include our alliance logo, as well as the member's name. I would re-upload the content, but would rather not risk a ban. If the content does violate the terms of use I would like to change it to a more appropriate interpretation. I don't know if anyone could track down what was deleted and tell me, but I would be able to re-upload and link the sigs here if need be.

i just added draps and virtualdub (both zip so i would be able to upload them) to make sure more ppl would add nice eve vids for eve-files.
meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep wrong , it got me banned. silly if you ask me.
ive loved eve-files for all this time just to get banned when trying to get more quality content to your site. i would appreciate any help in getting that ban lifted so i can get back to enjoying the vids and screenies pls

Ban has been lifted.
As for Virtualdub, I think I can accept that as afaik it's freeware?
But uploading "Fraps_v2.8.1_(Registered).zip", will render anyone a free ban.
