so we all know that T2 BPO's are limited, but do people that own them ever sell copys outside their Corp/Alliance?
As being a small manufacturing corp, getting into the T2 market is very profitable but there is no chance of getting a T2 BPO as no-one in my corp has a Lvl3 research agent, and to be quite honest the T2 lottery is a joke.
So do T2 BPC's exists? If so where can I get them?
I know that when Kali arrives, there will be a chance of "inventing" or "Reverse Engineering" T2 BPCs, but in the mean time..... ------ Eve-O Recruitment thread

The problem with t2 bpcs is they take longer to produce than building the item yourself.
Theres also more profit in building it yourself.

T2 BPCs (all BPCs except faction ships) come from BPOs owned by other players and no T2 BPO owner will make bpc's and jepardize their price control over the item.

Quit acting like a conspiracy theroist please
The real reason is as the guy above you said, the BPC's take longer to make per run then just making the item yourself

It doesn't matter, either way it is because it is more financially viable to produce from the BPO.

Ah so the reasons that hardly any T2 BPCs are produced is the copy time...this also ties in with a nice chat I had in the blueprints channel in game, it seems T2 BPCs are just as expensive as the product it makes, therefore little profit.
So as far as I can see, small/new corporations suffer badly in the T2 market and have to stick with T1 production.
I know there will be a change in Kali I just hope CCP balance it out properly for the smaller/newer corps who want to provide T2 items.

The only way producing T2 BPC's for the BPO to be profitable is to have a asking price of what the copy time is for X number of runs.
The only way producing T2 from a BPC is viable is to produce said item in 0.0 space. Even then it can be a pain as you need to have the extra components to build the item, and the T1 version BPO on hand where your building.
In the past T2 ships was the only thing worth the extra hassle, now you just build in empire and use freighter/carrier/mothership/dread to move said items and can turn out more product because of the long build times.
If you do get a BPO then I hope your good at logistics once you get that item producing at full tilt. Our CEO is banging his head currently to track our instock inventory better because of running out of 1 item or another, get more of that item (time) and get the factory running again.
Just thought I would give you all a taste of what it's like on the other side of the fence. It's not all roses

Or you can work hard and buy your first T2 BPO, and then continue to work your way up from there. My corp is active in the T2 industry and we bought the majority of our BPOs.
Don't ***** about the system - adapt to it and work around the difficulties in your path.

I've probably built well over 50,000 items with T2 BPCs.
And I mean T2 BPCs I got from auctions and escrow.
They're not rare in any sense
