OK i know selling isk for cash is not allowed
but trading game time cards for ISK is allowed
so, is it ok if i buy EVE Merchandise for ISK?
For example, the eve collectible card game or the alliance tourney DVDs
I mean CCP still gets a cut, i dont really see a difference between game time cards and any other thing sold in the eve store
so why not?

I don't really see how they get a cut - they would be giving cash value away for ISK.

Well, CCP could buy Gametimecards whith that ISK and pay the accounts for their employees with it...

those people then sell those time cards for ISK
so CCP gets the money from those time cards and they allow it

Sounds resonable, so anything in the EVE store could be auctioned or sold on the forums or the new contract system...

I know that they put the smackdown on people trying to by EON #1 with ISK, so I imagine that CCP wouldn't look highly on other ISK for RL stuff schemes either.

I'm not sure which disturbs me more, the thought of someone *****ing packs hoping for a foil raven they can trade for a raven ingame, or some pirates ingame *****ing my ships hoping for loot they can trade for a playset of moas for their caldari deck.

Actually, it's both banned and allowed, depending on whether you read CCP's official policy on the matter, or actually look at the real world where people can and will do it.
