Lo all!
Yup, want to sell the idea of creating a channel for all the GTC sellers so this channel doesn't get flooded. Have a hard time finding anything in this forum these days.
All who is for this idea please sign this petition!
Maybe this topic doesn't belong here...hm...in that case, please move it.

yes because every1 in the game prefers so much to pay with RL money and have no options whatsoever... get over urself... everything in the game is for sale... just like time.

I don't actually think that there are that many Game Time Card threads in the sell orders forum. But speaking as someone who has sold GTCs in the past, I think it would be good for both buyers and sellers of GTCs to have a separate forum.
Why? Because it's a very different experience from putting, say, a ship up on escrow.
Anyone who is a casual seller wants to sell quick, while s/he's online. He wants to get the money, so he can buy the skill books he needs and start playing. The buyers want that, too, so they can get back to making money and playing for free.
The actual transcaction takes less than five minutes, it's waiting for the buyer to find you that takes so long. If you look at most GTC threads, they're saying "hey, I'm online now."
And unlike auctions, which get bumped every time someone bids, GTC sellers usually have to bump their own threads. And they get lost within the mass of auction threads, pretty quickly. When I sold two GTCs, I was off the first page in 20 minutes.
Also, because the buyer can't inspect the GTC before s/he buys it, there's the issue of trust. So most people who sell time cards bump their original threads, which have customer testimonials, rather than create new threads.
There are currently 7 GTC sell orders on the forum now. Since there are normally 30 threads on a forum, if GTCs were on their own, separate forum, you would have all of the current, and some non-current GTC threads on the first page.
This would be good for sellers, particularly casual sellers, since their threads would be on that first page. Also, the ISK prices would stabilize, since all the current orders are on the first page, and would be easier for buyers to compare prices.

I had this idea a couple weeks ago too. I also think there should be a seperate forum for character sales. I think splitting the forum is inevitable as the eve community grows - its just a matter of time.
