Greetigns,
A few members of my guild Dominus Nihil have just started playing eve, joining a few others as well. We're about 10 members strong - with only 2 of us having more than 3 months in game. We still have fairly large guilds in Both SWG and WoW and if any of you know of us you know we are about as anti leet kiddie as you can get. But love a good fight as well.
Here is our dilema.
A much older and larger guild (Oriundus Cineris) decided they wanted Abagawa system all to themselves and supposedly declared war on all corps in the system. Being as raw and new as we were - we realized we had no chance against these guys and decided to move our HQ from the system to appease them. This apparently was not good enough - as they have tracked us to our new home and are getting quite full of themselves one shotting and podding us noobs.
While we have very little to offer at this time - We can guarantee that anyone willing to ally themselves with and give a helping hand dealing with this matter - will be repaid in kind once we have had a chance to establish ourselves a bit.
One of our members has been able to gather the following intel on some of their members:
Lynk - usually flies a Dominix, sometimes minmatar ships Javmango - unknown (catalyst?) L0nestar - Badger, Badger mk II? Spaced Skunk - Rupture (almost always) Angeliena - unknown omega kilos - unknown
Please leave info here if at all interested in helping some vet (although noobs to Eve) gamers out.

No clue why they chased us, we were nothing but polite /shrug I'm guessing they're just a bunch of immature kids who can't win a fight unless they are picking on n00bs :P Kinda like a 20yr old bully pickin' on a 2 yr old kid. Don't get us wrong, in the the future we'd love to war, but right now, we're just cannon fodder :|

Oh and no, they have not asked for isk to leave us alone, they'd be out of luck anyway, not like we're loaded. And they chased us around 14 jumps.

Correct, half of them are, half of them aren't. We did nothing to them, and yet their more experienced players have taken to camping outside our main station. To me it seems to be a case of 'hey lets **** these guys off til they quit..'

Well, you cross posted in corporate discussions, so I'll just post my reply to that locked thread here:
There has to be a reason why they chased you. If you do not know that, then you cannot solve the problem, and no one can really help you.
That being said, there are 10 of you and 6 of them. Fly 2-3 cruisers and complement it with frigates geared up for ECM and tackling. With good coordination you should be able to take out a battleship of theirs, and it will start making your corporation an expensive activity for them.
This is, of course, assuming that they do not have a stronger reason for going after you.
First order of priority for you is to find out the motive. There is always one, and once you understand the motive, the choices open to you narrow down.

Hi,
İ hate such people just kill noobs, because they dont have the power to attack advanced corps.
If u need help me and my squadron will gladly help, maybe in the near future u could merge into us or join our alliance for better protection.
Contact me ingame if they keep going on...

Thank you for all the offers of help, it was greatly appreciated. However Oriundus CIneris have now retracted the war. In 24hrs it's over, finally got to talk to one of them and explained our situation, and they turned it off.
Thanks again for the offers of help :)

Thanks you deeply for the offer. Our guild is pretty long standing and as stated we still have a presence in several other games - so a merge would not really suit us. An alliance however is something we would be quite interested in.
Like I said tho - most of us are only a few weeks into this game and would not be much more than a flimsy meat shield at this point - LOL
If I can get passed this damn disconnect problem I've been having the last week - I'll definately be seeking you out in game for some discussions on how we may assist one another.
Thanks again to all others who offered help as well.

You need a new intel guy to be honest. I havent PVPed in a rupture for a while now.
As I said to Asharin, the terms to end the war were met. We removed the dec.
And we went in t1 ships at the start, we didnt overkill, we wanted to give them a chance.
It was our challenge to take on the corps in Abagawa system. Just like alliances take regions etc. Your corp is full of friends yea? Sure you can all get together and take us on.

(Triple Post :S)
Quote:
2006.08.13 14:04 Oriundus Cineris has declared war on DN EVE Chapter. After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
For your convenience we have included the appropriate CONCORD War Rules:
The weekly cost is 2,000,000.00 ISK and you will receive a bill which needs to be paid promptly to maintain the war. If the bill is not paid before it is due then the war will be cancelled. If the war is cancelled then do not pay any outstanding bills for that war.
When an active war has been cancelled, there is a 24 hour grace period during which you can still be legally attacked.
If you are at war with a corporation that joins an alliance then the war will change from being against the corporation to being against the alliance.
If you are at war with an alliance and a corporation leaves that alliance then you will still be at war with the alliance but also temporarily at war with the corporation that left. The war against the corporation that leaves an alliance lasts 24 hours during this period you can attack them until the war expires.
Should you wish to resume hostilities against such a corporation then you need to declare war again.

As I said to you in a convo spaced. As far as we were concerned, you chasing us was just to pick on a n00b corp. Eventually you retracted the war, fine. All happy. But now because of this post, asking for help, you declare war again? Can you blame us asking for help? Anyway you do whatever, we're just disbanding the corp, leaving 2 people in it (the CEO and his alt, which funnily enough is a spare account so he can play another) Good luck fighting 2 people that will never leave the hanger, we'll just be in an NPC corp for a while, good luck war declaring us. Have fun with that 'mate'

Well, I'm going to throw in my 2 cents here.
Wars in Eve are very common and whether you like it or not, very much a part of this game. Disbanding your corp shouldn't even be an option. Stick it out. Like Rebellion said, get together a force and fight back. You may or may not win, but at least you will have earned some respect for trying.
I've been in several wars. Lost several and won several. PvP, whether losing or not, can be a very enlighting experience.
I guess my point is, don't disband. Stay proud and keep your guild together. Defend what you believe in. You're new to the game, so your losses will be minimal. Just have fun. Move to another system if they want that one so bad. There are other options besides disbanding.

We already moved to another system, yet they chased us about 12 jumps just to camp our new HQ. Apparently they lied about their reasons for declaring war, and all they want is nice easy kills.
Our members are leaving the corp to deny them what they want - we'll be less attractive targets as members of npc corps - but believe me, we are very much still together in every other way.
And yes, we're aware how much this game revolves around pvp - we already offered to fight Oriundus Cineris a few months down the line, when our members have some experience of the game. This offer was made shortly after the first war dec, and ignored.
We know sooner or later we'll have to fight, but we'll do it on our terms - not when we've barely begun to find our feet as a corp, not when even 'minimal' losses seem substantial to us, and not when half our members are barely out of noob frigates.
