I recently wanted to start EVE back up, so I downloaded the client from this site, and attempted to install.
To my dismay, the installation gave me an error about half way through installing resMusic.stuff file saying it couldn't be extracted or something.
I downloaded the file directly from the patchs page on this site and tried to install again but it still didn't work.
Here are a few other things I've tried:
-Downloading an old client and installing. The older client (3518 I think) hung on the file directly after resMusic, resSDN.stuff
-Downloading resMusic.stuff and all the files afterwards and placing them in the EVE folder. I did this then attempted to install again, but it hung up on resMusic again
-Downloading ALL patching files, placing them in the EVE folder, and installing. Still didn't work
I'm at a loss for what to do. I eagerly want to get back in, and my 30 day resubscription started today, so I'm missing out! Please help me, how can I get this thing to install!?

Are you downloading the full download or trying to patch up your old version?
I found the patches used to give me this problem, but downloading the full version and installing that worked.
I also found that installing it on to another directory or drives sometimes works.

I am downloading the full, up-to-date, install from the EVE Client tab on the main page, I have re-downloaded the client once
I have attempted to install on 2 different drives with no change in problem

I attempted to install it like how he did it here

(older version than patching)
but it gives me the same error as with resMusic.stuff, except on resTextures.stuff (which is 2 files AFTER resMusic)
