okayy . when i came on to eve today it forced a download patch for me to install during DT and when i look back at the tranq server it says status unknown

Hmm. I get that too. Server is not up, and after request times out, I get asked to install a patch.
Im not doing that.

That could hint at the servers just being starting up with half the network still unavailable.

TQ is up now.
If you browsed to the singularity server login during downtime, you will have been sent an update request. This is in order to bring your client up to date with the build currently on the SiSi test server, your choice of action to reject this installation was the correct one. Do NOT install a test build over your main TQ installation, use a secondary installation.

i got the auto patch aswell, i installed it unfortunantly, i didnt browse to sisi though just tranquility, it happened on both accounts just at tranquility

TQ may be up but you can't load a character. So it seems we have server trouble again on a weekend.
What is it the main guy be bothered so they send the trainee in on a weekend. Can I suggest leaving the servers alone at the weeekend.
Firstly, people aren't at work, if they are they don't work at their best, because they want to do something else.
Secondly people aren't at work so that's when they play the game.

Actually I got the patch download message when the request to connect to Tranquility timed out. I selected Tranquility in the list, waited for it to time out and then got the message.
Ill try to reproduce it next downtime or something. :)
