If you listen to the forums, CCP doesn't even listen to their paying customers. Why would they listen to someone who isn't even forking out any money for the priveledge of being ignored?

OP, don't think of it as $15 per month. Think of it as 1/2of one dollar per day. That comes to about 10 cents per hour, if you play 5 hours per day. Or 5 cents per hour if you play 10 hours per day. The more you play, the more of a bargain it is.

One the other hand-- If you spent all of that time getting ISK to buy one PLEX, you were working for only 5-10 cents per hour. That's below even what Oliver Twist got per hour in 1880 or so for washing bottles. So you're better off paying 5-10 cents per hour (which is a great bargain) than earning 5-10 cents per hour earning a PLEX (which would be really tragic). See what I mean? You have to do the economic analysis.

They might value his opinion more than those of paying customer. He is obviously more intelligent than us since he didn't pay to be ignored so his opinion is probably a better one.

Technically your opinion is a valid opinion, but that doesnt mean much and i (or anyone else) dont have to like it.

I think inactive accounts should be allowed to use the forums if they have subscribed in the past. It still circumvents forum spambots pretty well. Chaps my +íss that I can't post on the SWTOR forums to let them know exactly why I don't feel like subscribing to their game, and what they could do to change my opinion. And no, I'm not going to subscribe just to let them know.

When I switched over to paying with PLEX I got forum banned like the next day.

I wasn't anymore or less rude than I had always been.

Yes it is valid. But CCP will let you get away with more crap if you sub.

My theory.

Confirmed EVEO forums is the rotting ceasepool of EVE. It is the aids that is literally killing this game.

I can tell you from experience that you will have just as many posts deleted whether you PLEX by ISK, PLEX by cash or sub by CC.

If CCP had half a brain, they'd allow you to log in even without a sub/plex.
You become the worst sort of criminal, and you can't do anything without Concord getting you, even in 0.0. Trades are confiscated, you undock, you are dead red, and will be podded by Concord if someone doesn't get you first. No safety anywhere, but you can still log in and talk. They'd keep people involved with the game, something that seems to be lost from the game now.

This might be the worst idea I have ever seen in GD.
