Keep in mind, these is NOT the latest update, it is the corrected research list that was published earlier. My assumption (this is a hypothesis, not a fact) is that Concord Communication Personnel switched the value of Neural Networks & Sleeper Libraries.

The problem of this idea is that it assumes benevolent intent amongst the majority of Capsuleers, which simply could not be further from the truth. With respect as it is due to my CEO, I'd much rather have a new piece of dangerous and powerful technology under the control of any of the 4 empires, manipulative and deceitful natures or not, then in the hands of a completely unstable and discordant group of what mostly consists of profit-obsessed authoritarian dictators at the best of times, and thieves and mass murderers at the worst.

Further, I severely question the portrayal of us as exploited victims who deserve anything at all, considering the lifestyle of ludicrous excess the average pod pilot already enjoys. Make no mistake; Us hoarding technological progress for ourselves and leaving the rest of the world to capitulate to our terms or rot simply because we have the position of advantage to do so would not be a bold, heroic defiance of authority. Rather, it would be just another example - amongst a near-infinite number in human history - of a small group of hyper-privileged and hyper-empowered individuals selfishly profitting at the expense of the vast majority of human beings alive.

It really doesn't seem like a good idea at all.

We're the ones risking lives and ships in collecting the trinkets they want us to give them. I think it's only fair that we remain part of the equation when technological discoveries are made. We already have a medium through which capsuleers can aid in the research of Sleeper technology: the Arek'jaalan Project. Why aren't these avenues being taken by the empires? By excluding a donation option for A'J it almost comes as a slap in the face to anyone who seriously wants to aid in the progression of knowledge, and I think it goes without saying that such potentially powerful data is better in the hands of a scientist like Tukoss than poster-boy admirals and politicians.

When all of the options are poor in an election, some people will write-in their friends or fictitious people and essentially vote "none of the above". Sometimes the write-in is Sleeper Social Club, for lack of a better option. Of course, opinions vary wildly even within our own organization. The flexibility of the sell-to-corp model will allow each of us to make our own decisions, and I hope you make the one you find most reasonable Pilot Ikiryo.

The Amarr victory is somewhat concerning. I really did not expect this result.
