Turiya Flesharrower Beagle Corp	Posted - 2006.08.13 12:34:00 - [1] You guys are the only fun opponents left in Deklein; every time we enter 3JN9 you guys are there waiting and hungry for blood. Last night was a truly fantastic fight, I think both sides had a lot of fun. I wasn't there myself (severe hangover ftl) but the video that Roule shot of the fighting was enough to confirm it. I will say this, your Thanatos pilot is the luckiest S.O.B in EvE; the lads wouldn't shut up about that last 6% structure even hours after the fight ended Many thanks to Kuentai for his tactical flair and to Roule for shooting some awesome footage; 3JN9 was the brightest blood-red star on the map for a while yesterday and I can see why thanks to you guys. The initial fight at the gate lasted over 9 minutes, the entire series of battles lasted for over 3 hours. Our 16-man gang comprised 12 Battleships and 4 support; 6 Battleships of which were lost in the fighting (bloody fighters hurt like hell). A total of 53 FLA ships were destroyed in the battle, the full details of which can be seen on our Killboard or our Website. Once again I'd like to thank FLA for all of the fun, we're all looking forward to our next Deklein raid -----

I wasn't in the fight, but I was on Vent and watched the whole thing afterwards through Roule's video; it was a spectacular fight and I consider it thread-worthy. The fact that i wasn't there personally makes no difference, I have a full account of what happened and as CEO, it's my job to make formal announcements. In any case, FATE. has made forum threads with far less content so you're not really in any position to criticize. -----

The Chimaera actually came in and began remote-repping the Thanatos in the nick of time. By some stroke of bad luck the gang's damage output dropped for a few seconds as 4 of us had to reload at the same time and that was enough to deny us the kill. -----

Unfortunately IRON had a gang in 0-2 awaiting to jump in to the frivolities, but we didn't get to play :( May I also point out that there are always IRON gangs around VFK / JU area and Pure Blind looking for some fun. It is a right royal pain in the bum to go many jumps just to get a fight. We may even show you guys how to focus fire! ;) GJ Beagle/FLA

We didnt think that Beagle were gunna come in but they did. We were out gunned but kept comin back and i must say that that was the most fun i have had in the 2+ years of playing. Yes we lost alot more ships but by god we kept goin, no-one remote repped me was just usin a dam good tank and yes i did fill my pants more than once saying "im dead" on ts. But by the good grace of god and cap booster 800 i lived. So GF for u guys 2 and ty for havin the balls to stand ur ground and try take me out

Yeah we didn't Fraps the part where they came in and outnumbered us and we had to get out. They did outnumber us later basicly.

You had us badly outgunned from the get-go, except for the carriers, and quite a bit of the time, it was literally just jacass in there with you. Wish we could have pinned more of you to the floor, but oh well... My very first fleet engagement/serious pvp... not too shabby. I did lose a brutix though.

No blobs, no lag, no smack,lots of fun on TS, and so on. About the fight, yes we were more prepared then FLA, we had 11 BS's, not counting my phoon that actually was the carrier tackler - i just gave the phoon a role lolz), 1 ferox, 1 rapier (cuz Roule cant enter empire and buy a huggin, lolz), 1 rook and a covert. By the time i reached to nos and tackle the carrier the overview was clear of 5 BS, 3 hac's, and twice that amount of ships, oh if i known that there will be a carrier, eh. About FLA, most of the pilots in the system lost at least 3 ships each, they were comming and comming and comming and comming till the second carrier arived (after about 2 hours), props to ure perseverence and dedication of trying to keep the carrier alive and for s...loads of fun. I dont agree that some of my corpmates replying to the crokite sniffers in this thred, but not anyone can be as "iggnorant" as me. I dont do forums posts cuz most of the eve community does not see the game as i do, but even when it rains outside u still have to go to work, u cant change the world. If i was to subtle, the translation is: Alltho the forums are the worst thing about this game we still want to brag on it about last night cuz there is no other place to do it. .......
