My heart says Newcastle will steamroller every team to the title, my head says Chelsea.
God curse they day they proved the old addage "you cant buy a title" wrong. Tho seeing confused Man Utd fans wondering around without anything to shout about is well funny, almost as funny (rare) as a Man U fan from Manchester, had to get that one in
Also wondering how close Liverpool will come as they do show promise, apart the 18 foot long Timmeh impersonator, Peter Crouch.

we (liverpool) won't win the premiership cos we don't finish off games against the little boys, but we will win a cup and do better than the other English clubs in Europe.
Celtic will win the CL though?????

Interesting point the Times made today. If you look at last season from September 18 onwards, Liverpool outscored Chelsea by eight points. They only didn't win the title because of a god-awful bad start.
If they get off to a decent start this time ...

Chelsea fans all come out the wood work when a billionaire takes over.
Shame you just cant get that champions league oh well, Chelsea fans maybe you can come to the Anfield trophy room and look at one sometime. |

Can't speak for any of the Johnny-Come-Lately fans, but I know I was waiting for YEARS for Chelsea to start showing the world what i always knew they were capable of! Nothing but the occaisional FA Cup to cheer me up....
But now? Ho yus! Chelsea FTW every frickin' time :)
All the comments about the money make me laugh to, you know damn well that if someone came up to your team with satchels full of Russian Maffia money you'ld have his damn arm off!
Stevey G. is a real talent, one of my fave players to watch, but I think Lampy and ******* will be better than him. Again. And while I reckon Liverpool will do well again this year, I just know full well that Chelsea will be CHAMPIONS again this season.
And the Champions league will be ours too. Just wait and see :)

Both! Not sure how they are contradictory mind you.
I have followed Chelsea for years, marvelling at their ability to be superb for the first half of the season and absolute bobbins from January onwards (at least it always seemed like that!), but somehow convinced that one day they would be the champions. So thats the first statement.
And would you honestly say that if someone with more wealth than your avergae thrid world country came along and bought some world class players for you team you wouldn't like it? Thats the second statement.
Really can't see where they contradict each other. Part of all football is the changing of players in your favourite side from season to season, decade to decade.
It would seem you are suggesting that I should only be happy if Chelsea became champions without having the money to buy peeps like Robben, Cech, Schevchenko etc etc. Well that is total rubbish. Absolute stupidity.

Chelsea are the new real madrid, the chairman now picks the players he wants and not the manager. Shev is past it, Lampard is perhaps one the of the most over rated footballers i have had the displeasure of seeing at 3pm on a saturday at my teams ground ( i dont understand why he has turned into such a ponce, fame has gone to his head) .
now for the ' wtf what do you know about football' replies. Answer. a ******* lot!
