I remember a while back a dev was on the forums talking to us about fixing the miners so that they would shut down when the rock was empty rather than at the end of cycle
using strip miners its a general pain to be mining a veld roid that has 10 left in it and it taking 3 mins to mine the 10 units
now you might say use a roid scanner but lets face it those dont work right either you have to reset them after each use
so pls someone fix the darn miners

Would be nice... Nothing like loosing a 3min cycle for 3 units of Kernite lol.

Roid scanners work fine - never, ever had a problem with one.

you havent ??
that surprises me when I use them move and use them again it keeps the roids from my previus location also if I dont reset them between uses they will show the roids thats already popped
not to mention that you cans see what roid in the scanner is the one you are working on as you cant mark it
not broken maybe but not working correct deferently

Ya roid scanners suck. They only really work if you have 4 roids in the belt, otherwise you have to filter out all the garbage and re-engage the scanner after every darn cycle. Pain in the butt. As much as loosing a 3min cycle stinks, I'd rather loose it than scan after every cycle.
