The number one most annoying thing in eve is the damn sun in my openion... It is so bright that I always pane my camera away from it, if I ever put a pos up I make sure it is on the dark side of a moon blocking the view of the sun. As I fly around the systems doing anoms or whatever I always have to adjust my camera away from that bright ass ball of plasma.
I just simply ask for the ability to turn the sun down a bit if we want to. I (and I'm sure many others) have rather sensitive eyes, and when combined with playing with all lights off it is rather annoying and blinding when the appears on your screen and blinds you.
If we can't have a dimmer switch, how about at least an option to have a dimmer sun. That is the number one quality of life graphics change I would LOVE. I honestly could not care any less what so ever about the "Brighter Nebulas" when compared to issue of the sun.
As for the people who will say "it's a sun its supposed to be bright"... I don't want to contemplate wearing sunglasses when playing eve thank you very much >.> |

This is the only real complaint I have about EvE, outside of whiny carebears trying to nerf the game into Hello Kitty in Space. Disclaimer: My opinion does not necessarily reflect that of my corp or alliance. My opinion is my own, and if you don't like, that is your problem. |

Which reminds me that I haz answered this not too long ago and I really hate to repeat myself.
What you need to do is to open you monitor settings and in addition to the factory standard setting of 100% contrast, you need to set the monitor brightness setting to 100%.
And there also should be a color setting for red, green and blue which should be set to the right side.
If you should get blind now do not look at me, not my responsibility. signature |

So I should change my monitor brightness just to fit eve? No thanks, then I'd have to change it back when I watch/play things that already rather dark. |

I stare in the direction of stars all the time. I honestly don't understand what all the whining is about. Schrodinger's Hot Dropper - The Fate of Forum Alts - Click me! Click me! |
