Oratu	Posted - 2006.08.16 12:31:00 - [1] between 20,000 and 100,000 active subscription's, so between $300,000 - $1,500,000 dollars a month... Dam CCP lucky you are not bound by SLA's, with the amount of server downtime and Connection drops/lag u have been having of late, thats a lot of compensation. Iam not one to whinge, and i dont care if 50 thousound computer nerds flame this post, iam a business man in real life and as such i know what the word "service" means, unlike a great deal of people in this world. You are so lucky this game is so dam good, but if things dont start getting better, well it wont matter how good it is. But between 300k and 1.5 mil a month,(thats only subscriptions) should buy us some sort of redundancy and an enjoyable player experience. Thats my rant, see u all in game . . . . : ) : )

Ascendant Frontier	Posted - 2006.08.16 12:48:00 - [5] You think there is alot of Lag/connection drops???? the only times i ever see lag is after DT for about 20mins/during combat with 200+ people/Sunday evenings when the server is maxed out. There are ALOT more crashes/lag in other MMORPG's (aka WOW in a busy server) and the support is no where near as good imo.

My ISP wont give me anything if my indernet is dead up to 48 hours. My server host wont give me anything if my server dies for up to 24 hours (can be reduced to 60 min, but it costs 3x more). My cell phone company wont give me anything if my phone doesnt work for full day. My land line operator doesnt care unless service is interrupted for longer than 2 days. And I could continue... no one gives any compenstaions for small problems and short service downtimes. Unless its some big corporate contract where redundancy is well paid. ___________ Buying/Selling: Implants, Cargo Expanders and more
