i am running 2 accounts. orca and a hulk. just wondering what is the max mining range you can get? |

With skills and implants, everything maxed out, it comes to 22.5km - 22.8km , somewhere in there. |

Orca-Char with Mining Forman Imp and the Leadershipskills at 5 + Shipskill at 5 , Range = 23,72 KM
Hulk-Char with ORE-Impset , Range = 31,75 KM

And the new T2 links will extend that out a bit more (they're under-tuned on Sisi and won't extend the range by much). |

This is assuming you use the range implant instead of the yield implant correct?
I forgot there even was a range implant. lol |

You have (3) slots on the orca for fitting gang links (Rorqual can also fit 3). Most orcas either fit all 3, or run a tractor + the range bonus and cycle duration gang link.
The main issue why you will sometimes not see the range boost in use is because it causes logistical issues for the miners if the module is not running when their cycle ends. So if the orca is having to warp in/out of the belt all the time to haul ore, it's not worth turning on the laser range gang link. So unless you have a 2nd orca that can haul while the first one collects ore and provides boosts, it's sometimes better not to use the range link. |

I make it about 34.3km
with ORE Strip miners,
All 6 harvester implants
and a fully lvl 5 skilled rorqual.
However this isnt with the new T2 command links.
And the ore strip miners are stupid expensive
But this is abit unrealistic as no one wants low-grade (+2) implants. |
