What are the differencies between the Covert Cyno Field Generator and the Covert Jump Portal Generaotor? |

One creates a cyno field for a black ops to jump to. One creates a portal for force recons and covert ops ships to jump through. |

What? The regular covert cyno is popped by a covert ops or recon ship in the destination system. The black ops then jumps to it using its own jump drive.
Before it does that, the black ops can fire up a covert jump portal generator which will allow any accompanying covert ops, stealth bombers, or force recons in the same gang (at the same location as the blackops) to jump through the portal (since they lack their own jump drives) to the destination system where the covert cyno is situated. |

I see. Thank you very much.I guess Capital ships and jump freighters can only jump to a regular cyno field. |

Oh, also blockade runners like the Prorator, Viator, Prowler and Crane are able to use covert jump portals, since they can use the covert ops cloak. |

He might be refering to the bug when they changed some game mechanics which broke the t3 covert subsystem a few months ago making them unable to use the covert jump. Never heard if they actually fixed this tho and haven't tried it personally. |
