Nyphur Pillowsoft Interstellar Starbase Syndicate	Posted - 2006.08.17 06:40:00 - [1] Hey folks. I have managed to get my hands on three large named remote hull repairers. Currently, there are no remote hull repairers in the game and as far as I know no plans to introduce them any time soon, despite complaints from players having to eat freighter repair charges and being unable to repair drones completely in deep space. Indeed, the latest data export which can be accessed here (thanks to jide for keeping that useful resource going) shows no Tech 1 remote hull repairer in the game, only two named ones - a small one version and a large version. I have here three of the large ones. Currently, these items are broken. You can see from the screenshot linked below that they have the exact same stats as a small remote armour repairer. Screenshot here: http://www.eve-tanking.com/hullrep.png I won't lie to you, I tested it and it does repair armour rather than structure. I filed a petition and bug report and a GM has finally gotten back to me and told me that the issue has been marked as resolved and is waiting for the next patch. That means these things will be fixed come the next patch . I am not allowed to post GM discussions here but I will gladly evemail anyone the response I have, drop me an evemail and I'll forward it. You're also free to petition and ask to check if the bug report about this item is marked as resolved as GM Panic said. Screenshots/videos/whatever proof of that I can give, I will give, I'm being 100% honest. (maybe just ask the GM yourself!) The repairers are on escrow in jita 4-4 for all to see, at a fake price of 100 billion. It's just to let people see that they're real. So when the next patch hits, the winner of these auctions will have one of what may be the only three remote hull repairers in the game. I've been holding onto these waiting on a GM to confirm they were fixed and now I have it, so they're up for grabs. At worst, they're an eccentic billionaire's rare collectors item next to put next to your cruise missile kestrel. At best, it's an item rarer than the silver magnate and the only way to repair a freighter without eating the station charges. Either way, I'm sure they're worth a fair bit to a lot of people. So let's start the auctions: Repairer #1 Start bid: 100m (let's start nice and low) Minimum bid increment: 100m Reserve: Yes, I reserve the right not to sell these at any price. Buyout: No, though I will entertain offers in-game End time: Friday 25th August 20:00 Eve Time. Remote armour repairers are named "Remote Armor Repair System", not "Remote Hull Repair System". If you're still in doubt, check the link I gave in the original post here. Click "Ship Equipment", then "Hull & Armor". There's a section there for remote repair systems (which contains remote armour repairers) and another section for remote hull repairers, which contains a small and a large named remote repairer. Then check the escrow at Jita, which I have up for show. It contains three of the large ones. Everything is perfectly in order. I can't give you any promises on the ETA of the fix since I don't make eve but I can definitely give you all the info I have :). Eve-Tanking.com - For tanking spreadsheet and resources.

Instead of having 3 lots, people can just bid as if there was 1 lot and I will pick the three highest bids at the end of the auction. What I meant by what you quoted is that when the next patch hits, these items will be fixed and should be fully functional remote hull repairers. Tech 1 remote hull repairers are not in game and aren't even slated for release at all, as far as I know, which is what makes these three named ones so rare. If bids don't get high enough, though, I do reserve the right to simply not sell and instead wait for the patch to come - there'll probably be more interest then. Also the building materials & required skills are quite exotic. As I remember some modules needing serpentis tech to build. These modules cannot be found on the market. Nor they exist in the eve item database. It's like if they didn't exist but they do. And they're real. Although these items can be found also in the future, they're really hard to come by. Not only because the BPCs are handed out very little but also because of the exotic building requirements. As it seems, these modules are already built, it means this is probably the only chance you can get hands on remote hull repairer for a long time. Good stuff!

Bit odd for them to have dropped however as they are obviously bugg'd. There are 3 other "cosmos" remote armor rep's in game, and 2 cosmos hull rep's that both do armor repair. If you get a bpc then it will be 3 runs and it requires the following to build 1 isogen 111 mex 3 pyerite 887 trit The following Yan Jung parts Glass scale, Nano Fabric, Null Shell, Plenary Wire, Silk Armor, Singularity Fact Sheet, Tahyon Stetoscope, Thunder Kite (3 of)

Since these things are almost as rare as the opux luxury yacht and rarer than the silver magnate, I think it best to make sure that bidding ends when competition is exhausted rather than the auction ending after slipping into the depths of page 10. I trust that this isn't a problem. I have never had experience auctioning something this rare and probably never will again so I am obviously wary of getting everything possible from it. I searched throoughly for any reference to them and other than their presence in the database, nobody's ever mentioned them. the fact that they aren't even complete yet leads me to believe that the few I have were released by mistake, like how harvester mining drones used to drop off convoys for a short time. I've had these things for about 6 months and now that I have GM confirmation that they're being fixed, I can sell them. BTW, this is the sale forum, discussions other than questions to the seller aren't permitted. If a mod deletes your post, I'd appreciate this reply being deleted too to keep the place nice and tidy. Hi. Discussion should be done via evemail, this is the sale thread which is for questions and bids (forum rules and all that). If a mod wants to clear this post and my reply here, that'd be fine. But I may as well answer :). There IS certainly that risk, yes, but that risk increases the longer we wait. They could be seeded a year from now, a month from now or never! There's no evidence that they have been planned to be released soon or at all really. The reason I am selling now is that I ahve wanted to sell them ASAP and I only just got the GM response that they're being fixed. I'm sure everyone who bids is aware of the risk associated with it and knows that it's minimal. I'll evemail you the GM response. I'm surprised that some people are bidding without asking for it. Thanks for your input and valid questions/advice about the auction. I just logged in and checked, they were not fixed in this patch, probably since it's not a content update or bug fixing minipatch. I have to remind you that ultimately it's my choice to sell or not, hence the hidden reserve. If the reserve is not met, I may relist the auction. So the auction will continue as planned. The reserve has not yet been met and if it isn't, I will either sell to my buyout offers in-game of 1b+ or hold onto them, I haven't decided yet. I did get an offer in-game for 1b but they backed out. Rather than sell to the highest bidders, I decided to hold onto them because according to GMs, they would be fixed with a coming patch. I assumed that meant one of the minor patches we've had since then but it must have meant Kali. Now that Kali draws near, it's time to auction them again. I donated one to Kaede Frost's lottery recently sot here are only two left. There are three more I know of that I could get a hold of and get built. These are not the only three in the game but they are incredibly rare - at last count there are 9 possibly in the game and I believe I have the only three built. Basically, I think I'll take the highest offers I get and see how it goes from there. Please start the bidding at 300m. The previous bids are invalid now but I am keeping the thread as it shows what the items real value is (about 500-600m judging by bids last time). I'm fully aware that these may be worth 1-3b after the patch if they repair structure but I need isk right now to prepare for kali and risky investments have never suited me. Currently, there are no remote hull repairers in the game and as far as I know no plans to introduce them any time soon, despite complaints from players having to eat freighter repair charges and being unable to repair drones completely in deep space. Indeed, the latest data export which can be accessed here (thanks to jide for keeping that useful resource going) shows no Tech 1 remote hull repairer in the game, only two named ones - a small one version and a large version. I have here three of the large ones. Currently, these items are broken. You can see from the screenshot linked below that they have the exact same stats as a small remote armour repairer. I filed a petition and bug report and a GM has finally gotten back to me and told me that the issue has been marked as resolved and is waiting for the next patch. That means these things will be fixed come the next patch . I am not allowed to post GM discussions here but I will gladly evemail anyone the response I have, drop me an evemail and I'll forward it. You're also free to petition and ask to check if the bug report about this item is marked as resolved as GM Panic said. Screenshots/videos/whatever proof of that I can give, I will give, I'm being 100% honest. (maybe just ask the GM yourself!) The repairers are on escrow in jita 4-4 for all to see, at a fake price of 100 billion. It's just to let people see that they're real. So when the next patch hits, the winner of these auctions will have one of what may be the only three remote hull repairers in the game. I've been holding onto these waiting on a GM to confirm they were fixed and now I have it, so they're up for grabs. At worst, they're an eccentic billionaire's rare collectors item next to put next to your cruise missile kestrel. At best, it's an item rarer than the silver magnate and the only way to repair a freighter without eating the station charges. Either way, I'm sure they're worth a fair bit to a lot of people. So let's start the auctions: #1 Start bid: 100m (let's start nice and low) Minimum bid increment: 100m Reserve: Yes, I reserve the right not to sell these at any price.
