I can't believe some of you people. We don't give noobs a chance? If we step foot in a .5 system we are gang raped buy 20 police battleships. Thats also just what we do to noobs, its a fair trade. Noobs are safe in .5 and up systems and we are safe in .4 and down systems - and since when do pirates have to be fair? Ever hear of an old pirate tail of when a pirate showed mercy and left the persons ship alone cause they asked him nicely? Jesus...

I guess the argument there would be that pirates choose to have low security ratings?
Carebears do not choose high security ratings, they would just prefer not to get shot at.
I guess the argument there would be they shouldn't go into 0.4 space and below?
Hmm... I'm seeing a pattern here.

No but I did hear about that tale with the pirates being permabanned to the end of a rope for drawing to much attention to themselves...

No i just thought i was to far back in tanks thread so i just started my own - pirating is part of the game so just accept it and stop whinning. The next person who says they are petitioning cause they got blown up by a pirate is getting tormented for the rest of there eve life!

most of the whining is with the pvp system, rather then the fact they got killed.
pvp should be exciting for both parties and in alot of cases it is..but there is nothing exciting about jumping into a system and getting a fleeting glimpse of 30+ drones before you die.
all players should have at least a slight chance to fight back or run in all situations.
the skilled/aware players may survive, those not so skilled/aware will die.
at the moment, both die if they jump into these lag traps..
its not exciting, its not pvp, its bad for the game

Oddly enough, I haven't seen a pc 'rat with mwd equipped being set upon by 20 battleships in a 0.5 system. Oddly there were 8 shipkills in Luminarie (a 1.0 not a 0.5) last night, to a guy that ended with a rating of -9.6.
And concord in bold fashion didn't react to the guy at all, really would love to know how he managed that one, but till 20 battleships don't attack you when u pop up in 0.5, you might get attacked but with dual MWDs you can easily evade, just shouln't plan on staying aroudn too long.
