Do these things exist in game? I am having a heck of a time finding one... Feeling foolish too :) Thanks.

Then again, we'll probably have tech 2 stabbers to counter the tech 2 scramblers ________________________________________________

That's exactly it. I'd love t2 scrams but as soon as they come out, all the pathetic caldari jita loving stab monkeys of scum would cry for t2 stabs.

The answer to making t2 stabs work within the current game mechanics is simple really.
Just make T2 variant 1.5x better than the T1 version.
So...
A T2 disruptor will hit for 1.5 points against a T1 stab, thus tackling effectivly.
A T2 stab will protect against a T1 disruptor (1.5 v 1)
2 x T1 disruptors will hit for 3 points, locking down a 2x T1 stabbed ship
5 x T1 stabs V 2x T2 scrams (5 points v 6 points) would let the tackler win.
4 x T2 stabs = 6 points of stabbage
etc etc etc...
The T2 variant isn't hugely overpowered, but there is enough of a boost to make them worthwhile...

There is no point in tech 2 scramblers. Problem is that it would indeed ruin pvp. If you didnt have a tech 2 scram or tech 2 stabs you would be ****** and cant hold down anything. Not to mention that because these things would be in faaaaaaaaaaaar higher need than any cloaking device you would pay a lot (50-100ish) for such a scram...
3.5 k extra range for a domination scram or 500 M extra and 1 point extra...i know what i would chose _________________________________________________

There are a handful T2 stabs in the game (see the usual suspects i.e. Stavros and Burn Eden iirc), don't know of any T2 scramblers though. Neither have actually been released properly yet anyway.

Could just have t2 scrams/disruptors offer increased range over the tech1 ranges, same warp strength. Your signature is too large! Please resize it according to the forum guidelines. Jacques Archambault |

Yes. Give T2 scramblers longer ranges, and make T2 WCS use 5 less CPU and maybe a few % less of whatever penalty they get (so T1 WCS = -12.5% range each, T2 = -10% each).

Thats a good idea, and it would not make the faction tackling gear obsolete because the t2 stuff should be harder to fit. Sounds good. ---------------------

And I'd be there happily selling those stabs for 250mil a pop.
And the Scrams for another 200mil.

It would just be redundant.OMG 1 MORE POINT HOHOHO,O WAIT HE HAS 1 MORE STAB POINT TOO!
It just basicly becomes the same thing except t2 becomes the new must have. Its silly and they should never ever be added.
