now it may be an age thing, but red-dwarf is just a legendary show, recently trawling the internet and came accross some fantastic video complations, which i just had to share with you all;
Reddwarf compilation clips
The Arnold Rimmer Song
Ace Rimmer feat. Jennifer Saunders 'Holding out for a Hero'
Rimmer and Lister
Slapstick ad Gratuitous Violence, red dwarf style
Lister, he was my role model through my teens, explains a lot...
The best Dressed Feline on television
From the 'backwards' episode
Lister is trying to teach kryten to lie, the vids been remove but its the only recording i can find of it :)
Enjoy

Cat: I'm hungry. Hey, there you are! Hey man, I'm so hungry, I just have to eat.
Lister: Shhhhh. Not now, man. Rimmer's dad's died!
Cat: I'd prefer chicken!
Edit: I never watched it after the 6th series as I heard it was rubbish, anyone watched the 7th and 8th? Is it that bad?

The DVD's are sweet, packed with Smeg Ups, the Can't Smeg Won't Smeg show with Ainsley Harriot, all the making of, history of red dwarf, storylines... all sorts of stuff

The DVDs are indeed sweet. As much as I love Red Dward though, the last series still feels pretty crappy (I've no problem with series 7).

Quote: these days, cat is now doing kids TV
He was doing kids TV anyway, he was in Maid Marian and her Merry Men
KRYTEN: They've taken Mr. Rimmer. Sir! They've taken Mr. Rimmer! CAT: Quick, let's get out of here before they bring him back!
RIMMER: Yes, but Rimmer Directive 271 states just as clearly, "No chance you metal bastard." CAT: Come on, man, you gotta sacrifice your life! I'm not asking you to do anything *I* wouldn't do! RIMMER: YOU? You'd sacrifice your life for the good of the crew? CAT: No, I'd sacrifice YOUR life for the good of the crew.
Cat: All in all, a hundred percent successful trip. Kryten: Sir, we lost Mister Rimmer! Cat: All in all, a hundred percent successful trip.

My fav episone has to be 'backwards' (think thats teh title), some of the dialog when played backwards is hillarious and when Cat goes for a whizz in the bush at the end I was ****ing myself laughing

lol, I remember maid marrien, used to really love it, but I saw it again recently and it was pants :( I only get subjected to Tweenies and Teletubbies nowadays cause I sometimes end up falling asleep on the sofa and get woken up by a baby staring at me out of the sun and lots of furry things looking at each others crotches... I wonder what the producers take....

Loved red dwarf and have the whole lot on dvd. The only thing I hated in it was how the series finally ended, although I must admit it seemed on par with the books.

Damn, you made me do it, I've gone and ordered as many boxed sets as i could find. DAMN YOU ALL!

Quote: RIMMER: Step up to red alert! KRYTEN: Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb.
Quote: RIMMER: I can't let you out. LISTER: Why not? RIMMER: Because the King of the Potato People won't let me. I begged him. I got down on my knees and wept. He wants to keep you here. Keep you here for ten years. CAT: Could we see him? RIMMER: See who? CAT: The King. RIMMER: Do you have a magic carpet? LISTER: Yeah, a little three-seater. RIMMER: So, let me get this straight. You want to fly on a magic carpet to see the King of the Potato People and plead with him for your freedom, and you're telling me you are completely sane?!
Quote: CAT: OK. I say get into the jet-powered rocket pants and junior-birdman the hell out of here. KRYTEN: An excellent and inventive suggestion, sir, with just two tiny drawbacks: A. We don't have any jet-powered rocket pants; and B. There's no such thing as jet-powered rocket pants outside the ... outside the fictional serial Robbie Rocket Pants. CAT: Well that's put a crimp an otherwise damn fine plan
and one for parmi.
Quote: Kryten: [waking up after a night of partying] Oh, my goodness... Oh... my head. Oh, what happened to me? Damage control report. Oh! Dehydration level, 45%. Recall of previous evening, 2%. Embarrassment factor, 91%! Advised repair schedule; reboot startup disc, offline for 36 hours and replace head. Boy! What a night!

"How can the same smeg happen to the same guy twice"
My Favourite Dwarf moment has to be in one of the earlier series (2 I think) when Kryten is in pieces on a planet and he sends his hand back to red Dwarf. Which then procedes to scare the living crap out of Lister while he's trying to play one of those old typing games.
Lister typing to the cat. "THERES A SPIDER CRAWLING UP MY LEG"
Cat typing back. "YO BUD SO THERE IS, AND IT'S A BIG ONE ALRIGHT."
If anyone could link to that scene it'd make my day. (Still at work)
Or something like that - Always loved that scene, been to long to remember it exactly. (Me reaches for Red Dwarf DvD's and beer and prepares to settle down for the weekend) ---- Shoot 1st, shoot some more, keep shooting, some more shot, and if anyones alive after ask a few questions.

KRYTEN
With lobster? You want *brown* ketchup?
LISTER - It's really nice Kryts, but you know me, I just thought it could do with a bit of a pep-up... KRYTEN - I *can't* believe it. I simply cannot b- *Head explodes* CAT - Oh well done, bud! Now *we'll* have to do the washing up! KOCHANSKI - He's *literally* blown his top! Cat, can you go and get a spare head? CAT - How come I have to do everything around here? I never get a second to myself! "Cat do this", "Cat do that"; what am I? A dog?
*In the medbay*
LISTER - There. I think that's it; boot him up. KOCHANSKI - You're sure you know what you're doing? LISTER - Hey... KRYTEN - Ketchup?? With *lobster*, you want - *Head explodes* KOCHANSKI - I thought you said you knew what you were doing! ===== Miss the series, remember growing up with that and Harry Enfield, oh the good ol' days when BBC had decent shows
