Tried to log into today and every time I jump I have to restart the client because the server won't finish my session change. Anyone having similar issues? |

As they keep repeating...its not them....'its you'....you know, because soooo many people in this age have just absolute crap internet....

I can confirm that myself and some of the other members of CAS are having issues with connectivity right now. Drones are slow to respond, session change issues, and lots of disconnections. I don't know if it's localized to a particular area or not, because some people have said they aren't experiences any issues.
Hopefully we will get some word back as to what's going on! |

Same here. Saw a lot of lag and then closed sockets on all accounts. Can't get back in now. It gets to the screen where it lets you select a character and the little spinny thing just spins and spins then "Socket closed" again over and over. Weee!
CCP, I understand that "To err is human", but it shouldn't be the company motto... |

Yea, no. It's not my internet since I can browse, stream, torrent and so on without interruption or issue. Also note EVE is the only online game/service acting in this way.
FURTHERMORE, while I can't speak for any other player so far reported, my desktop is in Canada, and I doubt the internet is crappy enough here to affect all of North America and Europe too.
Can't do ANYTHING at the moment - anything requiring an update from server side to client side results in about 30 seconds of lag, followed by a 'socket closed' error.
EDIT: The socket closed issue happens when trying to quit game normally, too - hilarously enough. |

Same issue probably. Have you tried to trace/ping CCP as per that Wiki article they have on the evelopedia?
I have today got an update from my ISP that they are still looking into the matter (but likely can not do a whole lot).
