Hey guys I have been playing for acouple months. Flying a Arbitrator right now and loving this ship. So i decided to work up my drone skills and train up to use a pilgram/curse. What im wondering is for me just having one account will I be able to make money with not having a BS to rat in? Or would I have to train up gunnery skills for a BS.
Any and all input is welcome.

well tbh u can train for hac's tho and then u will not have any problems killing bs rats

Yeah if you train for the Pilgrim/Curse, you will have no problem training for a HAC too. Both the Amarr HACs are pretty good for making money. The only problem is of course.. that you actually need to have money in the first place to buy them, bit of a problem really, but same with battleships I guess.

An Arbitrator can easily take on npc BS rats - Its not as fast as in your own BS but perfectly doable - takes me about 6 mins for 500k rat, 10 mins for 950k rat - and that was with drones 4. Now I'll be much quicker - drones 5 and drones interfacing 3 has doubled my drone dps;) The key is the tactics you use.

yep works perfectly for ratting, using an arbi myself, total cost of ship plus setup is approx. 12-13mil.
the kill rate goes up dramatically with drone skills (using tech IIs).
if you need a decent setup mail me ingame and i'll check what you are going to rat and send you the setup.
pilgrim and curse are rather the same in ratting so i only use them for pvp.
