ATUK was typing sekkritt plans in local all the time, but you lads never understood them and refered to them as "smack"

Was relaying to Alliance Chat (in theory) a hostile squadron's movements.
I wondered why they weren't acknowledging the updates for about 10 minutes.

Can't say as I have, or at least, nothing more incriminating than saying "hi" to a corpmate in local instead of corp chat.
Used to do it in some chat programs on telnet. Sending a message globally that was only intended for your net-girlfriend can be a little embarassing. Exactly how embarassing, I can't tell you - this is a teen rated forum

because i often type that stuff into local to have a laugh, but it's not really accidental :P

the text input fields are seriously bugged.. if your like me and like to have local in it's own window then you can bet your sorry box of sardines your text input field will default to local every time you dock/undock/jump to a new system. Fix needed?

Done that fortunatly I there were 2 in system, both already on the TS.
