Station - Aeschee X - Moon 20 - Sisters of EVE Academy.
Essence region.
Aeschee has long been a haven for rich space gold harvesters and venture capitalists for many years. It is a beacon on the horizon for the level four and five mission-doer. It is the dream destination of small clone children as they are told stories about level two missions as they play with their toy Drakes and are told the great tales of the first level five expeditionary force who bravely hit enter and accepted those early missions all those moons ago. But away from the romance and the stories of old and the wealth that flows and where wallets blink like the lights of a Jita casino, right now Aeschee is a troubled place.
We have been reporting from the front lines for the last few days and understand that tensions are extremely strained. Shadow Cartel have vowed to exterminate the local population so that they can count their piles of space gold in relative peace and farm the missions in what some are saying is preparation for a long winter campaign further afield.
Their former lovers and mutineers who now call Overload Everything home, are one of the targets of the Shadow Cartel leadership in what some are predicting to be a bloody campaign. A messy divorce in which sources close to OE confirmed that the fight over who got to keep the mission running rights and carrier docking space turned out to be more important than who got to look after ItsmeHcK1's bastard clone children and feed the masses of abandoned Lisbaetanne space cats who hungrily roam the space stations of Aeschee's sister system right next door.
OE and SC are right now engaged in all-out warfare. Capital fleets are on standby and the quest for the all important mission gold is currently on hold.
But to get the full picture we must track back a little. For there is a mischievous little scamp of an alliance also involved in the picture. Perhaps one of the main targets of the Shadow Cartel extermination project - The Devil's Tattoo Alliance, which is mainly a corporation called the Black Rebel Rifter Club.
What started in a bar that sources call Drink's Bar (?), were a variety of diplomatic incidents and rumblings of discontent and voices of rebellion against the landlords of the area from the leadership of the R1FTA's and friends. These small-time crooks (and that is not meant as a slur, as those who our news team have spoken to would openly class themselves as the small fry in this pond) are invested in the area in the constant farming of stray noobling pilots who drift over the Adirain/Arnon border.
Before this conflict a rough coalition of the R1FTA's, their loose friends who share chat channel bonds, the Shadow Cartel and OE friends, and loosely The Tuskers all shared a blue understanding. This was a pact that saw many rules and regulations handed down by the Overlords in Aeschee that included some bizarre hardfisted rules to prevent the tranquility of mission running from being disrupted; from a no-combat probes rule, to no cloaky locals, no warping near and most strictly no missions to be run without Overlord approval.
Now back to those diplomatic incidents and an alliance who call themselves The Bastards decided a vacation in the area would be just what is needed to generate some extra income for lost fleet ships, noobling training, ransom classes and the replacing of the finest Golgothan cigars that are used daily for blowing smoke up their imperious leaders [edited] .... [legal team removed this section] ...... and this is all because of a deep-rooted [redacted] ... of [redacted].
To enable this vacation to go ahead The Bastards had to first jump into bed with the Overlords of the area and negotiate a rental agreement for the rights to the prime mission running lanes. A fee was agreed and The Bastards moved in for their vacation.
Having been now accepted into the lovenest and the blue triangle it was to be a happy engagement for all concerned. But this was where some of the rumblings emerged from the bar dwellers. For the scalliwags were going against one of the biggest rules of all and dropping probes and messing with the minds of the carrier teams happily running their missions.
A stern telling off from upstairs resulted in some freshly spanked bottoms and all was quiet for a few days as the naughty probe droppers were put back in place by dad. Until one day when the high and mighty Bastards leader Nashh Kadavr was enjoying running missions with his suncream slapped heavily over his sun-drenched bald head under the early morning sun of Aeschee.
As combat probes were spotted the worried leader asked nervously in the intel channels if probes were friendly. The quick response by a mole inside the channel was a resounding YES.
All was good. The mission was finished and the unknowing Kadavr could return to his next task which was the salvaging of his gains in his Noctis ship that he lovingly called Boris. But those probes weren't friendly, and one of the bar dwellers in a naughty mood then blew up the stranded Noctis.
Kadavr was seen crying for days in his quarters in Aeschee.
Then, after recovering from his ordeal the exact same thing happened again. In the same place and by the same pilot. Who was this madman!?
Leadership was not happy and orders were sent out to remove the pilot from harassing the area. It is not clear what happened next but the pirate corporation who had jumped into bed soon cut short their vacation and the Overlords of Aeschee were left a little red faced as their customers went home somehow bruised from their stay.
As the weeks went on, more and more incidents occurred including combat probe spooking and cyno destruction amongst other things until things came to a head when a lone frigate of the R1FTA's tackled a carrier in a mission and this ignited a chain of events. Shadow Cartel ordered all their fleet to Aeschee, OE towers were hit and hellcamps set up with |

This is honestly a pretty good post, and we all got a great laugh from it. It probably belongs more in the RP section than C&P though.
As for R1FTAs though, we're quite happy with them living nextdoor and have no desire or need to force them out. We very much enjoyed The North Is Coming living nextdoor to Avenod during our stay there, and look foward to enjoying the same situation again. |

The Noctis was called 'Combat Noctis' and was lost entirely by my own misjudgement and laziness. I can also confirm that Bastard Alliance only partly spends time in Aeschee and certainly have not spend any holiday there.We definitely didn't pay anyone any fees to be around there with any immunity.
This is well written post and highly amusing, however it lacks greatly in facts, other than referring to me as high and mighty.

I think we all remember where we were when we first heard the shocking news of a fourth Shadow Cartel Carrier being burnt down in the so called Aeschee missioning triangle.
I was enjoying an amazing ketchup steak with a bottle of Chianti across from my wife, Nora.
KETCHUP STEAK - AWARMINGCOAT ORIGINAL RECIPE:
1x Ziploc bag
1x fine cut of backstraps or high end sirloin
1x toaster
1x generic brand ketchup.
It's really worth it to get a high end cut of beef from your local butcher.
Fill ziploc bag with your steak. Fill it with ketchup.
Place the entire ziploc bag and ketchup in your toaster oven. Setting 9. This would be the setting that would set your smoke alarm off so take the batteries out of that.
Flip it over and do each side, top and bottom, putting it back in your toaster at least 4 times.
Enjoy. The meat should be really tough and the ketchup very burnt and crunchy. Pairs great with expensive ancient Tuscan wine.
Nothing beats a tough steak and a dead missioning carrier!! Throw in good company and wine for good measure
Ask Coat about the Vinegar recipe. I have yet to try it but he says it's the bomb!

But here's the steak recipe
VINEGAR SLOW COOKED STEAK AKA THE BOMB
1x Ziploc Bag
1x Filet Mignon
1x Toaster
1x 10% acetic acid vinegar (you will need to boil away some of the water from the vinegar as the stuff sold in stores is only 5%)
As brink said before it really is worth getting a high end cut of beef
First thing you do is fill the Ziploc bag with vinegar and throw your steak inside. Let the steak sit in the vinegar for at least 5 hours.
Take the Steak out of the vinegar (it should be nice and falling apart, a sign of good moisture) and immediately throw it in the toaster.
This is where things get very different, you must put the steak in for 1 minute cycles 20 times with 5 minute breaks in between.
This ensures that the steak is cooked properly (very welldone) so you are at no risk of getting sick or of contracting a tape worm. It also cooks it in such a way that the steak is nice and crispy at the end of the process.
CHEFS TIP: Try adding mayonnaise or ketchup to the finished product! |

I usually just take a 40-50 minute nap every once in a while and I feel much better. |
