ok, so i'm not the brightest of buttons - i got podded by some clown and then forgot to update my clone data after that - and got podded again two hours or so later - i realised when i couldn't get into my Mark V what I'd done but is there a way of seeing:
a) how many sp's i lost? b) what skills i lost?
and, for future reference (in case i'm really stupid enough to make the same mistake twice), how is skill loss calculated?

As a previous poster said, check your evemail for exactly what you've lost.
As for how to calculate it, if you die with a clone that covers all your SPs, you will lose 5% of your total SP or one level off your highest SP skill.
Example: You had 10mil SP, you'd lose 500K SP off your highest SP skill. If your top skill (say batttleship 5) had more than 500K SP, then you'd lose that many SP off it. If however, battleship 5 (for sake of argument) was only 400K SP up from BS 4, then you'd drop from BS 5 to BS 4 and lose no more.
Bear in mind that your clone must cover all your SP. If you had 10 million SP and your clone covered 9.9999 million, then you'd still lose 500K. Either have an up to date clone or not one at all.

Just a note, this part is wrong, and probably just a mistake in the post of Mr.HK4861. A clone that covers all your SPs allows you to keep them all, if it doesn't cover all your SPs, the rest of the post is correct I believe.
