The main tactic of the Curse Alliance to justify their aggression (and let's be clear here, it's their aggresion, because you don't see CA miners complaining about CFS up in CA space podding people) seems to be to simply lie about the situation, and accuse CFS of causing every problem.
We have multiple confirmed attacks by CA ships. We demanded evidence and screenshots before acting on them. For the first few incidents, we were willing to allow negotiations to cool matters over, even though the pirates had destroyed several industrials and a npc hunting battleship. As is clear from the "CFS Treachery" channel, CA officials were lying about who fired first. Then CA corps broke the agreed terms of the ceasefire, and when they were shot down, CA blamed CFS. Again, negotiations continued to cool tempers, and CFS was even stupid enough to pay some compensation, something CA never considered. And yet, CA pirates came back into CFS space, and more trouble was caused. We repeatedly asked that they pull out, and merely got virulent cursing and threats. When evidence was provided for their piracy, we took action. To preserve the peace, we CONSIDERED prohibiting CA from our space, and in return, were invaded. Even Sarkos admits it wasn't an attack on his people, but rather a report a spy of his found on security policy that lead to this assault on the peaceful corps of CFS.
I wonder who that makes the aggressor? For all of his smooth talking, Sarkos and his pirates are in CFS space killing people, not the other way around. For all of his sanctimonious tones, his people are the ones killing indiscriminately. For all the CA claims of self-defense, they have only one mystical indy that they can claim was attacked, with a pilot who acts confused when asked about it. (the other indy was in clear violation of the ceasefire, warned, and given 24 hours to leave--he shrugged off those warnings). For all Sarkos' claims of wanting peace, it was an amazing large pvp-equipped fleet the materialized and logged on into CFS space moments after he chose to attack us.
I'm sorry sir, your reality check has bounced.
